Trump: ‘With communism, everything turns to s***’

President Donald Trump trial ballooned a new midterm attack line targeting progressive Democrats during his Wednesday rally in metro Atlanta.

The president, speaking at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia, repeated Republicans’ overarching message ahead of the 2026 November elections, namely that the GOP is running on common sense while Democrats, especially socialists, are pushing communism.

“We have some great candidates running,” Trump stated just minutes into his speech. “They’ve got to win by a lot, otherwise we’re going communist. I don’t think anybody wants that.”

The president continued to pepper anti-communist remarks across the rest of his speech, which was ostensibly focused on affordability and the Trump Accounts.

Just after the one-hour mark, Trump claimed the United States is “stronger than ever before” and that “it’s going up as long as we keep our current thinking, our current system.

“If you go the other way, nothing ever succeeds,” he said. “With communism, everything turns to ****, OK? It’s true.”

“My wife hates it when I do that. She says, ‘You were doing so nicely, and then you had to use a foul word,'” he riffed. “There’s like no word that can replace that word, with respect to the subject matter that we’re talking about, right? But that’s all right. I try hard. I try hard to keep it clean.”
