Celebrities aren’t heeding the advice of those like Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, who recently cautioned against turning concerts into political events.
Most recently, Dave Matthews drew unwanted attention on social media after alienating many of his fans with a diatribe about how much he despises President Donald Trump.
Here’s some of the response his onstage outburst received on social media:

The statement still divided fans, with some being upset at the singer’s views as well as other who celebrated and empathized with the statement. Taking to the comments they reacted to what Matthews said.
“Yes David, we are too!”
“I absolutely hate when artist do this at concerts regardless of who or what they are for or against.”
“Some of these comments, man… imagine choosing Trump over being a DMB fan
how embarrassing.”
