In any ordinary election cycle, it wouldn’t be surprising for Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to endorse whichever candidate represents the extreme-left position.
But in 2026, that extreme has shifted significantly to the left of where even Warren’s position on many key issues has typically been.
Nevertheless, she is dutifully getting in line behind the socialists currently taking over her party, as evidenced by her recent endorsement of Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan.

Warren’s careful wording when noting that El-Sayed “studied to be a doctor” indirectly referenced one controversy surrounding the candidate that isn’t directly tied to his far-left agenda.
