Ex-Rep. Bowman Mocked For Video Complaining That No One Wants To Hear His Thoughts On Socialism

When he was in Congress, he received some attention due to his connection to the far-left “Squad” on Capitol Hill.

But after losing the 2024 primary in his New York district, he’s largely faded into obscurity.

Now that all eyes are on the socialist uprising within his party, Bowman thinks he deserves to have a voice. As the New York Post reported, he posted a video letting everyone know all about it:

Former “Squad” Rep. Jamaal Bowman epically whined Monday that the New York Times didn’t interview him for an article detailing black and Latino leaders’ fears that the Democratic Socialists of America is erasing minority voices.

The DSA diehard posted a cringey X video contending the report — which inspired fellow black pol Queens Borough President Donovan Richards to approvingly quip that the DSA is “white supremacy” — instead elevated a Democratic establishment lobbyist over him.

“Am I not a black leader in the community?” he moaned, launching into a nearly two-minute tirade over his supposed worthiness for a Gray Lady interview.

And here’s a sampling of the reception his comments received:

Ya the times loves interviewing unemployed convicted criminals. Shocked they didn’t look to speak with you!

Here’s a flashback to the kind of leader Bowman was while in Congress, via NBC News:

Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., indicated Wednesday that he will plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge for pulling a fire alarm in a congressional building on Capitol Hill last month.

Bowman has agreed to pay the maximum fine of $1,000 for one misdemeanor count of falsely pulling a fire alarm — a charge that carries a maximum penalty of six months in jail. He will also provide a formal apology to Capitol Police.

And here’s a clip one commentator called a “deranged” performance from the “male AOC”:
