President Trump Attends Dignified Transfer Of The Four American Troops Killed In The Middle East

President Trump on Wednesday afternoon attended the dignified transfer of the four American soldiers who were recently killed in the Middle East.

Before attending the dignified transfer at the Dover Air Force base Trump stated, “For me, it’s one of the hardest things to do as a president but has to be done.”

Three of the soldiers who are being transferred were killed in an Iranian strike that hit a U.S. base in Jordan and the fourth was killed conducting a controlled detonation of an Iranian drone in Iraq.

Live Now Fox reported more on Trump’s visit:

President Donald Trump traveled to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware Wednesday for the dignified transfer of the four U.S. Army soldiers who were killed in action last week in the Middle East.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine were also in attendance at the dignified transfer.

Speaking to reporters on his way to Dover, Trump called it “one of the hardest things to do as a president.” His message to grieving families, he said, will be “we love you, we love your child.”

“There’s no games, there’s no nothing — that’s their child,” Trump said. “And all you can do is throw out your heart.”

The Pentagon says three U.S. Army soldiers were killed in action in an Iranian missile and drone attack at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, Jordan, and a fourth was killed while detonating a drone in Iraq.

Trump has a busy schedule today and is expected to later visit Georgia according to The Hill:

Trump travels to Marietta, Ga., for remarks on the economy Wednesday afternoon. The visit occurs as he’s increasingly at odds with Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.), who is up for reelection.

The 25 percent tariff on most imports from Brazil begins Wednesday. Trump’s new 50 percent tariff on Canada is getting a cool reception among Republican senators. U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer will appear in front of the Senate Finance Committee in the morning to discuss the president’s trade agenda.

The House late Tuesday passed a stopgap measure that will fund the government through Dec. 4. Six Democrats joined Republicans in supporting it; one GOP member voted against it. The bill is a nonstarter in the Senate. On Wednesday, the lower chamber is expected to vote on its $95 billion budget framework.
