LeBron James has been in the headlines now for some time as he deliberated to what team he would move.

But that decision isn’t important to President Donald Trump, who, when asked, delivered his verdict on the National Basketball Association’s “best” ever.

And it’s not James.

In the Oval Office, Trump was asked, “Where do you stand on LeBron vs. Michael Jordan as the best ever?”

Reporter: “Where do you stand on Lebron vs. Michael Jordan as the best ever?”

Trump: “Well, Michael Jordan is a friend of mine. And I think Lebron… Maybe he’s a racist. Maybe he doesn’t like Trump. I only like people that like me, so I’d say Michael Jordan all the way.” pic.twitter.com/ZfBK54IuTE

Trump’s answer was direct: “Well, Michael Jordan is a friend of mine. And I think LeBron… Maybe he’s a racist. Maybe he doesn’t like Trump. I only like people that like me, so I’d say Michael Jordan all the way.”

James has been the focal point of NBA reporters these days, just announcing that he is heading to the Philadelphia 76ers.

His announcement said it would be his “last decision,” as he seriously had looked at the idea of retirement after some two decades in the league.

James’ announcement said, “I believe I can help make the Philadelphia 76ers a championship team and I am so excited to energize a new fan base and start this incredible journey one last time.”

He reportedly is getting an $8 million, two-year contract, even though he cashed in on nearly $53 million last season.
