‘That’s On You’: Bill Maher Blasts Democrats For ‘Obsessing’ About President Trump’s ‘Personality’

Long-time leftist comedian Bill Maher has become a barometer for the Democrat Party’s devolution into woke socialism over the past few years.

The divide has reached the point that he now declares his 2028 vote up for grabs and would even consider casting a ballot for Vice President J.D. Vance against a far-left Democrat nominee.

And his latest jab at the party comes at the expense of those who continue to feign outrage over President Donald Trump’s personality quirks after his has displayed the same behavior throughout his decade in politics.

As the New York Post reported:

“I don’t care,” Maher said of Trump’s antics. “If, at this point, ten years into the Trump situation, you are still obsessing about his personality, my view is that’s on you.”

“Should we always be criticizing, as I do, what he actually does while he’s in office? Absolutely,” Maher continued.

“But to keep just focusing on these personality things that we’ve talked about for ten years — they’re not going to change. That’s who he is. I don’t care when he calls me names now. It’s the way he does it. It’s the way he talks. It’s who he is.”

His remarks drew some attention on social media:

Essentially what he’s saying is stop having TDS where every thing Trump does is the end of the world, like UFC fights or trying to fix a monument. The left will love this

Having TDS for over 11 years is beyond mental illness. Imagine dedicating 12.5% – 14% of your life to being deranged, delusional, and nursing a poisonous heart. I bet many of these people will have early illnesses and heart attacks with all the cortisol they infected themselves…

Although Maher has been a frequent Trump critic, he recently recounted the backlash he received for accepting an invitation to meet the president at the White House.

As Fox News reported:

Comedian and talk show host Bill Maher recounted his falling out with Larry David on Monday after meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House for a dinner last year.

In an interview with The New York Times Magazine, Maher discussed how David was “so outraged” by his meeting with Trump that he penned an essay in The New York Times titled, “My Dinner With Adolf,” adding that the two men’s relationship had yet to recover.

Jerry Seinfeld also reportedly weighed in, adding both Maher and David “both got kind of bugged out,” following the White House dinner, which was organized by Kid Rock.
