Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation FIRES Staff Attorney Over Anti-ICE TikTok Video

A staff attorney for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation just learned the meaning of FAFO.

Earlier this month, Shannon Desherow — who served as Assistant General Counsel at the OSBI — went off on a deranged rant against ICE in a video she uploaded on TikTok.

In that clip, she claimed that ICE has “no authority and no jurisdiction over U.S. citizens” and called for Americans to “make their lives f*cking miserable.”

She went on an unhinged meltdown, appearing to threaten ICE and saying she will NOT comply.

This wasn’t the first time Desherow has uploaded something questionable online.

As it turns out, she also made some truly disgusting videos after the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk:

Desherow’s TikTok videos made her famous…but, probably not for the reasons she wanted.

Oklahoma AG Gentner Drummond condemned her statements and called for her resignation in a post on X:

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s Shannon Desherow does not speak for Oklahoma. Her comments attacking the credibility and mission of ICE do not reflect the values of Oklahomans or the views of the law enforcement professionals who work every day with our federal partners to keep our communities safe.

Anyone in Oklahoma law enforcement who feels so passionately against our federal partners should resign. Homeland Security, FBI, DEA and ICE are critical allies to Oklahoma and my office as we combat organized crime. An attack against one of them is an attack on the entire system that protects our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

But, Shannon didn’t resign.

Instead, she has been fired!

Fox News confirmed:

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has fired a staff attorney after an internal investigation into an anti-ICE social media tirade that prompted widespread criticism, the agency confirmed to Fox News Digital Friday.

“Once we were made aware of her social media post, we opened an internal investigation,” a spokesperson for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation told Fox News Digital in a statement Friday. “Upon completion of the internal investigation, she was terminated. Since this is a personnel matter, we are unable to further comment at this time.”

The termination follows Fox News Digital’s earlier reporting that the fired staff attorney, Shannon Desherow, had been placed under investigation after posting an expletive-filled video criticizing Immigration and Customs Enforcement and encouraging resistance to federal immigration enforcement.
