Driver PLOWS Van Into Berlin LGBTQ Pride Parade — Police Identify Islamist Suspect

One person is dead and over a dozen others are injured after a driver rammed his vehicle through the annual LGBTQ pride parade in Berlin, Germany on Saturday.

Police have identified a “member of the Islamist scene” as the suspect.

At least 14 people are injured, and one person is dead after a van was driven into a crowd of people near the Tiergarten park during Berlin Pride.

At this time, the suspect has not been taken into custody yet, but he is reportedly known to police.

From AP News:

Berlin police said they have identified a suspect who has not been arrested and he has ties to Islamic groups in the German capital.

“The suspect is known to police. He is known to us as a member of Islamic circles here in Berlin, and our search for this person is proceeding at full speed,” said police spokesman Florian Nath. He did not identify the suspect by name.

Nath added that “we still have no information whatsoever regarding his specific motives, the exact sequence of events, or his role in the crime itself.”

This is absolutely terrible. Violence of any kind, against any group of people, is evil and should be condemned.

But, it will be interesting to see how the Muslim-loving left reacts to a radical Islamic terrorist attacking a gay pride event…

Maybe they will finally learn that those two ideologies do not mix well together.

Many of the victims have been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The New York Times has the latest update:

The police said that the crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. in the Tiergarten, a major park in the city center, and that a hunt for a suspect or suspects was underway. At least 16 people had injuries, some life-threatening, according to the police.

Florian Nath, a spokesman for Berlin’s police, said in an interview that a motive was under investigation.

Mr. Nath said the car “drove through the park and hit several people walking” in an area near the Brandenburg Gate, where an annual gay pride celebration was underway. It was not clear how the car entered the park.

The vehicle, Mr. Nath added, “didn’t exactly hit the parade,” but, by driving through the park, “attacked the people who were going away from the parade.”

The car, a white passenger vehicle, was found crashed into a tree with nobody inside, according to the city police, who asked people to submit any photos or videos to help track down those responsible.

Sadly, Germany has become a hotbed for these types of Islamic terror attacks in recent years.

Reuters noted:

Germany has in recent years suffered a series of incidents in which a car has charged into a crowd, causing deaths.
In May, a man believed to have mental health issues drove his car into a central pedestrian zone of the eastern German city of Leipzig, killing two people and seriously injuring three.

Last year, two ⁠people were killed in the western city of Mannheim when a 40-year-old man whom authorities described as psychologically unwell drove a car into a group of pedestrians. Weeks before that, an Afghan national suspected by prosecutors of having carried out a similar attack on a trade union demonstration in Munich, killing two and injuring more than ⁠40, including children.

In December 2024, several people were killed in a car-ramming attack on a Christmas market in the eastern city of Magdeburg. The suspected perpetrator was a psychiatrist from Saudi Arabia with a history of anti-Islamic rhetoric who had lived in Germany for almost two decades.

Of course, these horrific terror attack coincide with a flood of migrants pouring in from third-world Islamic countries.

These violent, non-assimilating foreigners have been welcomed in by the German government in an act of suicidal empathy.

In other words, Germany has failed their people by letting this invasion take place.

We can’t let America make the same mistake.
