A commercial flight in Europe became tense last month as a male passenger reportedly invoked Islam’s strict Sharia law to avoid sitting next to a woman, then allegedly punched or slapped a female flight attendant in the face as she tried to calm the situation.
According to the German newspaper Bild, the passenger – identified only as a 29-year-old Turkish migrant living in Germany – was arrested when his June 1 flight touched down in Düsseldorf.
“According to initial witness statements, the man invoked Sharia law and refused to sit next to a woman,” a police spokesperson told the newspaper, even though the Muslim code has no standing in that European country.
The New York Post reports: “When a female flight attendant tried to speak to him about it, the irate passenger punched or slapped her in the face, the report said. Once arrested, the unidentified passenger confessed to the assault, according to cops.
“But he only did so after first spitting insults at the federal cops interviewing them – not realizing one of them also spoke Turkish, according to officials. He was charged with insulting the officers, along with assaulting the attendant.”
“The initial report said the flight was Turkish Airlines, but a rep insisted Friday that ‘the incident in question did not occur on a Turkish Airlines flight and is unrelated to Turkish Airlines.'”
Kurt Flowers on X noted: “Liberals, look and take notes. Civilized men might say misogynistic things sometimes but Muslims literally think women are cattle. Muslims will go out of their way to declare a made up legal system so they can abuse you.”
A contributor to the Gateway Pundit warned about “the growing assertiveness of Sharia attitudes across Europe: no-go zones, parallel societies, honor-based violence, and the steady erosion of women’s safety in public spaces.
“From Cologne’s mass sexual assaults to street patrols enforcing Islamic dress codes, the pattern is clear. When authorities refuse to enforce assimilation and instead prioritize multicultural dogma, these incidents become routine rather than shocking.
“Western women are expected to accommodate medieval religious demands on airplanes, in schools, and on city streets. Flight attendants, teachers, and everyday female passengers are left to deal with the consequences while politicians and media soft-pedal the cultural and religious roots of the problem.”
