House REJECTS Codifying President Trump’s Transgender Military Ban — Here Are the Four RINOs Who Voted ‘No’

In a stunning betrayal of President Trump, the House of Representatives has defeated an amendment that would have codified his executive order banning mentally-ill transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. military.

The final vote was 212-217, with four Republican congressman joining Democrats to sink the vote.

Here are the names of the four RINO defectors:

  • Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania
  • Rep. Kimberlyn King-Hinds of Northern Mariana Islands
  • Rep. Mike Lawler of New York
  • Rep. James Moylan of Guam

Watch the moment the amendment failed in Congress here:

WTF?! 4 House Republicans just BLOCKED an amendment to the NDAA that would have codified Donald Trump's executive order preventing mentally ill transgender people from serving in the US military, 211-217

Ever since he signed the executive order back in January, President Trump’s ban on “transgenders” in the military has been challenged in court.

The failed amendment, which would have locked in the policy, was sponsored by Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert.

It would have been attached to the NDAA — an annual bill that Congress must pass that sets the budget and policies for the Department of War.

The Hill provided further background:

The executive order, implemented by Trump in January, states that “consistent with the military mission and longstanding DoD policy, expressing a false ‘gender identity’ divergent from an individual’s sex cannot satisfy the rigorous standards necessary for military service.”

The order also states that the armed forces “shall neither allow males to use or share sleeping, changing, or bathing facilities designated for females, nor allow females to use or share sleeping, changing, or bathing facilities designated for males.”

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia voted 2-1 in June that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s decision to expel people who are currently serving was motivated by animus against transgender people, violating their constitutional rights.

However, the court’s ruling did not cover people wishing to enlist in the military; the court ruled that it involved different considerations.

What do you think?

Does it seem like to allow people who are mentally-ill enough to believe that they are really the opposite gender to become U.S. soldiers?

Folks on X are sharing some thoughts:

Traitors! I’d like to hear their argument for trying to weaken our first class military.

Common sense and the Republican party don’t necessarily go hand-in-hand lately

It’s been a coup the entire time everyone. It’s always just the right amount of votes to not get something done.
