New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio is thought to be considering a presidential run in 2020 but if the number of attendees at his recent event are representative of his support, it's not going to have much support.
De Blasio held a roundtable on mental health on Sunday at the Sugar River Valley Regional Technical Center in Concord, New Hampshire, and only 6 people showed up to see it.
Another 14 people attended, but that's because they were on the panel with De Blasio.
And 6 other people were there, but they were reporters who were covering the event.
It is not an auspicious beginning for the possible presidential campaign of the mayor of American's most populous city.
DeBlasio was also hounded by a report that his "New York Works" program had spent $300 million of taxpayer money but had only created 3,000 jobs so far.
"We have made great progress in seeding job opportunities and ensuring we stay on track to reach our goal," said James Patchett, the president of New York City's Economic Development Corp.
