As it turns out, the brother of the new — and first American — Pope Leo XIV is a massive Trump supporter!

Even though Pope Leo XIV, formerly Robert Prevost, voted Republican, his social media posts were critical of President Trump and JD Vance.

This is in stark contrast to those of his brother, Lou.

Resurfaced Facebook posts from Lou Prevost, who is Pope Leo’s older brother, portray him as a totally based, MAGA patriot.

The brother of newly elected Pope Leo XIV has been revealed to be a huge Trump supporter who has praised both Elon Musk and Vice President JD Vance. The revelations come following the end of the conclave, which ended in Cardinal Robert Prevost becoming the next head of the Catholic Church.

According to Facebook posts from Lou Prevost, the older brother of Pope Leo XIV, is a huge supporter of Trump and a patriot.

Pope Leo XIV’s brother once shared a post on Facebook calling Nancy Pelosi a “drunk c*nt” with an old video of Pelosi supporting tariffs on China.

Wow, based.

The post was shared on Lou Prevost’s Facebook account on April 5.

“These fking liberals crying about tariffs is just unreal. Do they not know that there is a thing called video? Just listen to what this drunk c* has to say In the mid 90’s long before her husband had grindr dates,” the original post from Artie Specht said.

Lou Prevost shared the post from Specht with Facebook’s version of a ‘quote tweet’ along with the following video.

The unearthed Facebook posts give further insight into the new pope’s background and his family after he was selected the first American to lead the Catholic Church.

Leo, Louis and their other brother John grew up in the Chicago suburb of Dolton, Ill., with Louis recalling the pope was always seeking peace.

“Jeez, it was like just yesterday, I was throwing him down the stairs,” Louis Prevost told the New York Times. “And now he’s pope!”

He told the newspaper he was a conservative who disagrees with his brother on some topics.

He also gave his thoughts on what type of pope his brother, 69, will be.

“I think he’s going to be similar to [Pope] Francis, but maybe not quite as liberal-minded, you know, flexing the church rules quite so much,” Louis Prevost said. “I think he’d be a little more conservative.”

Leo’s other, John Prevost, made headlines last week for more mundane reasons when he revealed the US-born pontiff is a Chicago White Sox fan instead of a supporter of the crosstown rival Cubs.

Politics aside, Louis Prevost has been beaming since Leo’s ascension to pope.

“And as soon as [a church official] went ‘Ro-,’ my mind blew up, because I knew ‘Ro-‘ was going to turn into Roberto. And sure enough, Roberto Francisco,” he explained to CBS News of the announcement of the new pope.

“And I went nuts. I lost it. Mind blown. My little brother was just made pope. Oh my God. What do I do? How do I act? Do I have to change the way I live? I better behave now.”

The Pope’s brother seems like a very likeable guy!
