U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.
Some of the links between Minnesota’s Muslim Somali member of Congress, Ilhan Omar, a Democrat, and a massive fraud scheme involving hundreds of millions of dollars and a group called Feeding Our Future already are known.
Her office and a key player in the fraud, for example, exchanged emails.
But, as WorldNetDaily has reported, Omar had refused to release those communications.
Concern over possible connections surged recently on the arrest of one of those on the email list, Abdikerm Eidleh, who was indicted in 2022 but only recently was taken into custody in Somalia. Feds confirm he was one of the key organizers of Feeding Our Future, which has been described by federal officials as one of the largest pandemic-era fraud schemes in the country – siphoning off more than $250 million in taxpayer funds.
And State Rep. Kristin Robbins, R-Maple Grove, chair of the Minnesota House Fraud Prevention and State Oversight Committee, has informed the Center Square that the arrest shows the importance making public communications between Omar’s office and Eidleh.
But now another link has been revealed, escalating concern even higher.
A report at the Gateway Pundit has confirmed of a “stunning connection” between Omar’s family and Feeding Our Future.
“Omar’s sister, Sahra Noor, registered her consulting company at a Minnesota residence connected through business records to several major figures in the Feeding Our Future operation,” the report said, citing a Daily Wire investigation.
Noor founded Grit Partners Consulting, a health and leadership consultancy focused largely on projects in Africa, the report said, And Noor’s website claims that she has “secured more than $20 million in funding for health initiatives” and consulted on projects backed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, USAID, GAVI, and the World Bank, the report said.
A report at Lifezette revealed, “One of Minnesota’s largest public corruption scandals is back in the spotlight, and once again, the orbit around Rep. Ilhan Omar is proving remarkably crowded. A Daily Wire investigation has raised fresh questions about Omar’s sister, Sahra Noor, and her alleged proximity to figures tied to the Feeding Our Future fraud scheme, a case federal prosecutors have described as a historic theft from taxpayers.”
The alleged scam involved fake meal claims, shell entities, millions of federal tax dollars and more.
The money actually went to “luxury homes, real estate deals, and the kind of political embarrassment Democrats usually prefer to bury under a committee calendar,” the report said.
It is the Minnesota House Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Committee that has been reviewing the extent of Omar’s involvement, even though Democrats on the panel blocked a subpoena for her records.
The Gateway Pundit said it is the address for Grit Partners that is raising doubts.
It said the Daily Wire investigation confirmed Grit Partners was registered at a home on Hyacinth Way in Lakeville, Minnesota.
“That address reportedly belongs to Mashah Ahmed Ali and his wife, Ister Ahmed Afraa, also known as Ismahan Afraah. Afraa’s business history intersects with multiple individuals and entities tied to the Feeding Our Future scandal. The Daily Wire reported that Afraa established Sunrise Business Center with Hanna Marekegn, who pleaded guilty to participating in the Feeding Our Future fraud operation,” the report said.
That defendant already has admitted to helping steal millions while falsely claiming to provide thousands of meals.
And, the report said, “The same Hyacinth Way residence was also used as the registered address for Diversity Childcare Center LLC, with Afraa listed as its manager in Minnesota state records.”
Mashah Ahmed Ali told the Daily Wire it was some sort of “scam,” as he never had heard of the businesses that were registered at his home.
It is Feeding Our Future founder Aimee Bock, who has been sentenced to 41 years in prison for her role, whose courtroom documents revealed multiple emails with Omar’s office.
The report confirmed evidence to date does not link Sahra Noor or Grit Partners to fraud, and there are no charges.
But “the newly uncovered connections demand an explanation — especially as Ilhan Omar continues to stonewall Minnesota lawmakers seeking records about her own dealings with individuals involved in the scandal,” the Gateway Pundit warned.
Omar has denied having any knowledge of any scheme.
Feeding Our Future is just was of the names that has appeared in what analysts have suggested is a fraud campaign in Minnesota, revolving around its Somali community, that may have cost taxpayers $9 billion.
Experts long have expressed the opinion that it’s unlikely such fraud could have taken place without at least state and federal officials there being aware of it.
Omar has been blatant with her ideology of using her position in the U.S. to help Somalia:
And President Trump has not concealed his dislike:
