I had a reader send me an email today that I thought was something I should answer for everyone because I’ve heard similar questions/comments from many people.
Name/email withheld for privacy purposes, but here was the question/comment they sent me:
Ok, fair enough and I don’t disagree in principle.
Heck, I don’t think even President Trump would disagree in principle, but there are many moving pieces here that you might not be aware of.
So that’s what I want to do here in this article, help you fill in some of these gaps.
First, let’s start with the basics…the BBB was an opportunity to grab a ton of wins all at once, even though some stuff we don’t like also got thrown in. More on that stuff in just a moment. But first a quick list of all the big wins that we just picked up because this cannot be overlooked:
Tax cuts made permanent, avoiding a 65% tax hike in 2025 for all Americans!
Extreme border funding allowing President Trump to fully seal off the border, finish the wall, and do every last thing needed to finish the border security with no more fights or roadblocks in his way.
Planned Parenthood immediately defunded of $1 billion.
Ensures deportation of at least One Million illegals each year.
No tax on tips.
No tax on overtime.
Rescinds BILLIONS of funding for “green new deal” scams.
There’s a ton more, but those are some of the big highlights for me.
So it’s really important that we start here and understand all the big wins we just put up on the scoreboard.

Now let's advance the story, because now we have to talk about how we're going to clean up all the crap people don't like -- and I'm right there with you all.
As I said above, President Trump is right there with us too!
And we're going to do it with two words: RECONCILIATION and RECISION!
Reconciliation is the process we just went through on the Big, Beautiful Bill allowing all of this to get done with 50% vote instead of the 60% otherwise needed (filibuster).
Speaker Mike Johnson was on Fox News today explaining how we have two more Reconciliation packages coming in the next year (clip below).
He also explains how many recision packages are also coming -- this is the really key part.

And for more on the Recision packages, here is NEC Director Kevin Hassett also telling Fox News that a ton of these recision packages are coming and can keep coming over and over and over again, each with only 51 votes needed in the Senate (or 50 votes with JD Vance breaking the tie).
Recision packages permanently cut off the fraud, waste and abuse spending that Biden put into law over the last 4 years -- and the fraud, waste and abuse that has accumulated in Government over the past many decades.
While President Trump could, on his own, simply choose to not spend the wasteful money, it doesn't permanently go away until you have a Recision package, so that's what's coming next.
Think of it like this: Recision packages are essentially what codify the DOGE cuts and make those permanent, passing them into law and permanently deleting the fraud, waste and abuse from coming back every year like some kind of hosta in your yard that you just can't kill.

I think you're going to be very happy with the next steps President Trump takes after signing the BBB into law.
This is not the end, just the very early part of the beginning.
As I've said all along, President Trump is a dealmaker.
He literally wrote the book on The Art of the Deal for crying out loud!

The first win was the BBB.
That's now done.
Now we pull out our surgeon's knife and we start dissecting all the ugly stuff and one by one we cut it out of the patient.
