The scandal surrounding Virginia Democrat Attorney General candidate Jay Jones just got even deeper.

For a refresher, text messages from a few years ago recently came to light revealing that Jay Jones fantasized about murdering the then-GOP House Speaker, his wife, and two young boys.

More on that here:

Now, another disturbing allegation about Jay Jones has been uncovered.

This time, he's being accused of calling for cops to be killed in order to stop them from shooting people.

Take a look:

Jay Jones’ really bad week just got even worse.

In addition to Jones being exposed for wanting to shoot a Republican leader in the head and watch his kids die, it’s now alleged that he wanted cops to be murdered in order to change how they police.

Jay Jones’ really bad week just got even worse.

In addition to Jones being exposed for wanting to shoot a Republican leader in the head and watch his kids die, it’s now alleged that he wanted cops to be murdered in order to change how they police.

“Maybe if a few [cops] died, that they would move on, not shooting people, not killing people,” he allegedly told the same delegate who released the earlier text messages.

Virginia — reject this monster in November.
Republican Del. Carrie Coyner is the former colleague of Jay Jones who first revealed the sickening text messages.

On Monday, she went further, accusing Jones of telling her that he thought more cops getting killed would be a good thing.

From the New York Post:

Coyner has come forward with new allegations against Jones, telling the Virginia Scope Monday that during a 2020 conversation about qualified immunity, she told Jones that without the legal protection, police officers would get killed.

“Well, maybe if a few of them died, that they would move on, not shooting people, not killing people,” Jones responded according to Coyner.

Jones previously supported bills to remove qualified immunity while he was still a member of the House of Delegates.
After this new allegation surfaced, The Fraternal Order of Police of Virginia sent a letter to Jones calling for him to drop out.

Read their letter here:

Full text of the letter:

The Virginia Fraternal Order of Police is aware of the recent text message scandal involving you, the Democrat candidate for Attorney General. While this incident may have occurred in 2022, this conduct has no place in our society or democracy, especially from an elected official who is running to be the top prosecutor in Virginia," the FOP wrote. "The men and women of the Virginia Fraternal Order unequivocally condemn these violent text messages sent by you about a political opponent and his family.

We support everyone's right to respectful and peaceful discussions with a political figure, however the calling for any type of violence is unacceptable. We have seen what this type of rhetoric has caused in other parts of the country. The men and women of law enforcement work tirelessly to combat the violence you wished on a fellow Virginian and his family," the FOP added. "Therefore, the members of the Virginia Fraternal Order of Police believe that you, Jay Jones, are unfit for the office of Attorney General of Virginia. It is time you hold yourself accountable for these actions and withdraw from the Attorney General race immediately.
Several Republicans -- including both the President and Vice President of the United States -- are also calling for Jay Jones to drop out.

In addition, Coyner is calling for him to drop out.

While Jay Jones has admitted to the text messages and issued a (very lame) apology, he has denied this new allegation.

Fox News reported:

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Coyner said Jones, a Democrat, is unfit for office.

"My position is very clear. It is never acceptable to think that killing people is a justifiable method to achieve policy changes. Period. Anyone that advocates for killing someone for disagreeing with them is not qualified to serve," Coyner said.

Jones denied the new allegations.

"I did not say this. I have never believed and do not believe that any harm should come to law enforcement, period. Every single day, police officers put their lives on the line to protect our communities, and I am deeply grateful for their service and sacrifice. As Attorney General, I will work hand-in-hand with law enforcement to support their work," Jones told Virginia Scope.
Still, not a single Democrats has stepped forward to call for Jay Jones to drop out.

Republican Virginia gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sears shared:
