A councilwoman in West University Place, Texas, was charged with disorderly conduct on Wednesday for reportedly yelling obscenities at a group of teenage girls over a Donald Trump t-shirt.
Kellye Burke reportedly targeted the girls as they were in line at Tiny's Milk and Cookies on Saturday, waiting to buy cookies for younger girls at their nearby church. “A tall, short-haired blond woman came up to them and screamed, ‘Grab em by the (expletive) girls!'” the father of one of the girls said. He wishes to remain anonymous, as he fears retaliation against his daughter.
The girls were startled by Burke's proclamation but nevertheless tried to laugh it off. But then she kept going.
“Then, she yells it again!” the father said. “At that point the girls were getting kind of scared, and then the woman starts, you know, going, ‘MAGA! MAGA! MAGA!' while shaking her fist.”
“They were absolutely scared,” the father said of the girls. “My little girl essentially wanted to know if this woman was going to hurt her.”
As for what provoked Burke's insanity, one of the girls was wearing a shirt that said, “Trump: Make America Great Again.” One of the girls also claimed that Burke took a picture of her.
According to Burke's Twitter profile, she's a volunteer for the anti-gun organization Moms Demand Action.

The Harris County Precinct One Constable's office filed a class C misdemeanor charge against Burke. When Jacob Rascon, an anchor and reporter with local news station KPRC2, visited Burke's house for comment, Burke yelled at him through the door to go away. Watch below.
This is just despicable behavior on Burke's part. What kind of grown adult terrorizes children simply for wearing a t-shirt?
Burke apparently reached out to the father's wife, and later met with and apologized to both of them. He said he's accepted her apology, which is more than what most parents would do if someone harassed their child for expressing themselves.
