It’s no surprise to hear far-left singer Neil Young disparage President Donald Trump and conservatives in general.
But when he offered his latest take on the president’s effective immigration policy, critics noted that it was absurd even by his standards.
As OutKick reported:
Social media reactions to the nasally crooner’s claims were largely disapproving:Now dual-citizen (U.S. and Canada) Neil wants the crazy Libs to believe that Trump will have the geriatric sent off to a deportation center this summer when he tries to reenter the United States.
“When I go to play music in Europe, if I talk about Donald J Trump, I may be one of those returning to America who is barred or put in jail to sleep on a cement floor with an aluminum blanket,” Young, 79, wrote on his website Tuesday.
“If you are Canadian. If you are a dual citizen like me, who knows? We’ll all find that out together.”
Unlike Ellen and Rosie, who are in exile, Young wants back in because there’s money to be made this summer with tour stops from Michigan to Mountain View, California.
“By these latest actions of our US government, it seems that those who speak out freely with their own opinions are now vulnerable to a non-existent Trump law. Then it seems to me that if you voted for Kamala Harris over Trump, that makes it possible for you to go to jail or be detained, punished in some way for not showing allegiance to what? How spineless is that?”
“Trump is not able to stand up to anyone who does not agree with his ideas? Remember, all months have 30 days.
“One country, indivisible, with Liberty and Freedom for all. Remember that? I do.”
I don't like to curse here, but …
This fucker tried to cancel Joe Rogan and NOW he's saying he'll be banned by Trump

It wasn’t the only divisive opinion Young has shared about Trump recently.Elderly has-beens like Joy Behar and Robert De Niro and now Neil Young desperately want to be attacked by Donald Trump. They need the publicity. I think all three should be required to live together in an assisted-living facility.

As Breitbart reported:
Here’s a recap of a dispute between the two men early on in Trump’s political career:After Young became a U.S. citizen in 2020, during Trump’s first term, he penned an open letter calling the president “a disgrace to my country.”
He doubled down on his website, writing: “If the fact that I think Donald Trump is the worst president in the history of our great country could stop me from coming back, what does that say for Freedom? … Remember Freedom of Speech?”
On Tuesday, the septuagenarian railed against what he called “spineless” acts of enforcement and attacks on freedom of speech he feels his words embody.
