Rep. Anna Paulina Luna Speaks After Meeting With Victims: “It’s a Very Real Possibility Jeffrey Epstein Was a Foreign Asset”

Today, Congress met with several of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims behind closed doors.

The accusers’ testimonies have not been made public.

However, Rep. Anna Paulina had a lot to say after attending the meeting.

She says that, after speaking with the victims, she believes the Epstein case is “far bigger than anyone anticipated.”

She also says it’s a very real possibility that Jeffrey Epstein was a foreign asset (though she declined to name for which country.)

She acknowledged Epstein was in fact a foreign asset (without naming Israel).

According to Rep. Luna, the victims said that foreign governments were involved with Jeffrey Epstein.

Some info ref the Epstein victims testimony today:

• There are over 33,000 documents. Names will be in those files. Per the victims, we need to follow the money trail. This was a well orchestrated operation with many tentacles to include shell corporations, etc.
• Chairman Comer via House Oversight is sending a SARS request to the US Treasury.
• There is a lot to uncover ref the Deutsche Bank and how money was funneled and moved.
• Epstein’s network was described as an international trafficking network to all members of congress who were present (both Democrat and Republican) and also involved trafficking women from Slavic nations as well. Immigration fraud, etc. Many of those women have stayed silent due to fear of retribution.
• Foreign governments (as in more than one) were named to be working with Epstein.
• Victim information, rightfully so, was redacted from release, but the committee as a whole is working to ensure that they will be given access to their information that was previously denied to them by other admins. Ty to the Trump admin for handing all of this over.
• One victim had her newborn daughter threatened for coming forward. • Epstein was still victimizing underaged girls while on work-release while wearing an ankle monitor, only to spend the evening in prison.
• The attorneys of some of these implicated individuals have apparently already tried to contact some of the victims attorney’s.
• Rep Comer is running point on this and I am fully backing these efforts.

Keep in mind that today was Congress’s first day back in session since August recess.

As you may recall, Speaker Johnson shut Congress down early in order to avoid a vote on releasing the Epstein files.

That effort was led by Rep. Thomas Massie and Rep. Ro Khanna.

On their first day back today, Massie and Khanna filed a discharge petition to force a vote on compelling the DOJ to release all the Epstein files they have to the public.

That petition has already gotten over half of the signatures it needs to move forward, according to Rep. Massie:

In just 2 hours, our discharge petition to force a vote on releasing the Epstein files garnered 134 signers. We are over halfway to 218.

Politico has more:

Freshly back in Washington from the August recess, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) plans to take the formal steps at 2 p.m. today to file a discharge petition, the procedural maneuver necessary to bypass leadership and force a vote on his resolution compelling the DOJ to unseal the files related to the late, convicted sex offender.

Once he does that, Massie said in a social media post Tuesday morning, he can begin gathering the necessary 218 signatures required to bring the resolution to the floor. He said in an interview last week he expects to secure that number quickly. Massie also has co-sponsored the measure with Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), so a combination of support from virtually all Democrats and at least a handful of Republicans all but guarantees the two lawmakers will meet that threshold.

A bipartisan group of House members, including leadership of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, is set to convene a closed-door meeting with Epstein’s victims Tuesday afternoon, according to a person granted anonymity to share details of a private event.

A group of Epstein’s victims also plan to hold a rally on Capitol Hill Wednesday morning, separate from a long-scheduled press conference Khanna and Massie will host with victims around that same time to highlight their discharge petition effort.

Despite GOP leaders’ efforts to quell the Epstein crisis over the recess, Massie said, “this has not gone away like the speaker had hoped.”

This comes as the House Oversight Committee just dumped a trove of over 30,000 documents related to Epstein, which they subpoenaed from the DOJ.

However, most of these documents are not new and had already been made public previously.
