BREAKING: Obama Judge DEFIES Supreme Court in Ruling to Protect Over One MILLION Haitians & Venezuelans from Deportation

The rogue judicial branch strikes, yet again.

Today, another activist federal judge defied the Supreme Court in an effort to stop the potential deportations of over one million migrants.

San Francisco U.S. District Judge Edward Chen, who was originally appointed by Barack Obama, issued a ruling that blocks the Trump administration from canceling the temporary protected status of around 1.1 million Haitian and Venezuelan immigrants.

Underneath the Biden regime, the Department of Homeland Security granted Temporary Protection Status to Venezuelans and extended protections to Haitians.

In case you’re wondering, yes, these same Haitians (allegedly) were the ones eating people’s pets in Ohio last year…

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem sought to strip the migrant’s protected status after taking over.

Per Reuters:

Temporary Protected Status is available to people whose home country has experienced a natural disaster, armed conflict or other extraordinary event. It provides eligible migrants with work authorization and temporary protection from deportation.

The program was created in 1991 and under Biden was extended to cover about 600,000 Venezuelans and 521,000 Haitians. Noem reversed the extensions in February, saying they were no longer justified.

Judge Chen’s ruling goes directly against a Supreme Court ruling in May that explicitly granted the Trump administration permission to go ahead and end the Temporary Protected Status program.

From CBS News:

“This case arose from action taken post haste by the current DHS Secretary, Kristi Noem, to revoke the legal status of Venezuelan and Haitian TPS holders, sending them back to conditions that are so dangerous that even the State Department advises against travel to their home countries,” Chen wrote in a 69-page decision. “The Secretary’s action in revoking TPS was not only unprecedented in the manner and speed in which it was taken but also violates the law.”

In May, the Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to end the TPS program for hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans, freezing an earlier ruling by Chen.

Chen said that decision concerned only preliminary relief he ordered that postponed the Department of Homeland Security’s actions. The high court’s order, he said, did not bar him from adjudicating the case on the merits or issuing relief under the Administrative Procedure Act, a federal law that governs the agency rulemaking process.

The Justice Department will likely appeal the decision.

The Department of Homeland Security criticized the ruling in a statement, and said Noem will “use every legal option at the Department’s disposal to end this chaos and prioritize the safety of Americans.”

“For decades the TPS program has been abused, exploited, and politicized as a de facto amnesty program. Its use has been all the more dangerous given the millions of unvetted illegal aliens the Biden Administration let into this country,” the statement read.

It’s likely that this case will head back to the Supreme Court and be overturned.

Still, it’s absolutely infuriating that these corrupt, leftist judges have the gumption to get in the way every time the Trump administration tries to do something.

The judicial coup has to end.
