President Trump to Award Ben Carson With Nation’s HIGHEST Civilian Honor

President Trump just announced that he will be honoring Dr. Ben Carson with our nation’s highest civilian honor — the Presidential Medal of Freedom!

He made the announcement while speaking at an event at the Mount Vernon for American Cornerstone Institute, which was founded by Ben Carson.

Congratulations, Dr. Ben Carson!

He definitely deserves it for all the work he’s done both in medicine and for the conservative movement.

In case you don’t know, Ben Carson was born into poverty but rose above the odds to become a very successful neurosurgeon before getting into politics.

Throughout all the adversity of these past several years, Carson has repeatedly proven himself to be fiercely loyal to President Trump — despite the two men being polar opposites in terms of personality!

He’s a true American patriot, man of faith, and just a genuinely good, kind guy.

The Washington Examiner shared more on Dr. Carson’s background:

Carson, a former neurosurgeon who ran against Trump in the 2016 Republican primary before dropping out and later becoming his housing and urban development secretary, will receive the award during a White House ceremony at a later date…While out of political office, Carson has since founded ACI, a think tank that promotes “conservative, commonsense solutions to the issues facing our society,” according to its website. He has also written numerous books, including most recently The Perilous Fight: Overcoming Our Culture’s War on the American Family.

Carson also had a role in Trump’s successful 2024 reelection campaign, appearing a few times on the trail and serving as his national faith chairman in the last couple of months before Election Day. He was earlier thought to be in the mix for Trump’s running mate, a role that ultimately went to JD Vance

This marks the third Presidential Medal of Freedom that President Trump has announced this month.

AP News noted:

The Medal of Freedom, established in 1963, is awarded to individuals who have made especially meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, or cultural or other significant public endeavors.

Trump bestowed the honor on 24 people during his first term and has already announced two other recipients since his return to the White House. Trump mentioned no date for giving the honor to Carson, but other honorees are already in the pipeline.

Earlier this month, Trump said he would bestow the award on former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, two days after his longtime political ally was seriously injured in a car crash.

During a Sept. 11 commemoration event at the Pentagon, Trump announced that he would posthumously give the award to conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated earlier this month and whose memorial service Trump plans to attend Sunday in Arizona.

All three are great American patriots who truly deserve the honor.

We don’t know the date when President Trump will award Carson or Giuliani yet.

But, President Trump is set to present the award to Charlie Kirk during Sunday’s memorial service.
