President Trump just announced that he has ordered the Department of Justice to take all necessary action to free Tina Peters from prison.
Tina Peters is a 69-year-old Gold Star mother from Colorado who was harshly sentenced to 9 years behind bars for challenging the 2020 election results.

Tina Peters was originally sentenced in October 2024 after being found guilty of several felonies related her attempts to expose 2020 election fraud.
The Denver Post explained:
Peters’ case was prosecuted by a Republican district attorney and she was
convicted of several felonies related to
unauthorized access to state voting machines, including giving a security badge to a man associated with MyPillow chief executive Mike Lindell so the man could access Mesa County’s election system in an unsuccessful search for voter fraud.
The U.S. Department of Justice is
already reviewing Colorado’s prosecution of Peters, and Mesa County District Attorney Dan Rubinstein has
repeatedly denied that her case was politically motivated, citing her conviction by a jury of her peers in a majority-Republican county.
The corrupt leftist judge in charge of Tina’s case nastily insulted her, going off on her “white privilege” before handing her an
insane sentence of 9 years in prison!
He cited her ‘lack of remorse’ — a.k.a. her
conviction that the 2020 election was rigged.

Even worse, Tina Peters suffers from poor health after having lung cancer in 2016 that resulted in half of her lung being surgically removed.
She is being deprived of access to the medical care she needs in prison.
Last week, Peter Ticktin — a close friend of President Trump’s — filed an amicus brief for Tina Peters.
That
brief reads:
The Defendant Tina Peters has a broad-based appeal pending to the Colorado Court of Appeals but also due to severe health concerns and the injustice of detention has filed a 28 U.S.C. § 2254 habeas corpus petition for release from incarceration – and thereby access to necessary medical care – pending her appeal on the main topics. The violation of her civil rights and constitutional rights support habeas relief of release pending the outcome of all appeals…
…Tina Peters has been prosecuted for exposing criminal misconduct of other Colorado officials – whether she intended that at the time or not. The Colorado Attorney General is even guilty of the now famous 18 U.S.C. § 1512(c) – obstruction of an official proceeding – as well as attempted destruction of evidence (attempted in Peters’ district, but surely completed in other parts of Colorado)…
…Tina Peters’ “crime” was to preserve a copy of the digital election records prior to the alteration of the software and database. She arranged a qualified expert to oversee the purported software “upgrade” mandated by the Secretary of State that would have erased election records in violation of 52 U.S.C. §20701.
Why does the left go after little old ladies and mothers of soldiers that gave our lives for our country instead of violent MS-13 gang members who beat their wives?
