The exiled Crown Prince of Iran has accepted the call to lead his nation through its darkest hour.
Reza Pahlavi, son of the late Shah of Iran, announced he will serve as transitional leader once the Islamic Republic falls.
The Iranian people have spoken.
They want him to guide their country back to freedom.
From The Gateway Pundit:
The timing could not be more critical.“The Iranian people have called on me to lead the transition after the regime is gone. I have accepted that responsibility. Part of their great mandate to me is to return our nation and our foreign relations to normalcy. I will do exactly that.”
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was confirmed dead Saturday after U.S. and Israeli strikes decapitated the regime’s leadership.
The Islamic Republic is crumbling.
Its proxies lie in ruins.
Hezbollah has been decimated.
Assad is gone.
The regime’s terror network is collapsing.
Pahlavi has spent nearly five decades in exile.
He fled Iran as a young man when Ayatollah Khomeini seized power in 1979.
Now he may finally return home.
From ABC7 News:
The Crown Prince is making big promises.“They trust me as a transitional leader, not as the future king or future president or future whatever. I’m totally focused on my mission in life, which is let me bring the country to a point that they can make that free choice. That would be enough for me having said mission accomplished.”
He vows to dismantle Iran’s military nuclear program completely.
He pledges to end support for terrorist groups immediately.
He wants peace with Israel.
He wants normalized relations with Arab neighbors.
Pahlavi released a powerful statement as missiles flew across the Middle East. The battle in Iran today is between occupation and liberation. The Iranian people have called for me to lead.

He condemned the regime’s attacks on Arab nations.
He called the strikes violations of sovereignty.
But he also extended an olive branch.
From The Gateway Pundit:
The transition plan is ambitious.“We will rebuild our nation not for expansion, but to serve the Iranian people. We will base our diplomatic relations not on exportation of ideology, but on mutual respect and shared interest. We will reintegrate into the regional and global economy to increase prosperity for the citizens of all of our nations.”
Pahlavi promises orderly change.
He wants to avoid the mistakes of past revolutions.
No debaathification.
Keep bureaucrats in place.
Let the people vote.
President Trump has been cautious about Pahlavi’s ambitions. To all of our friends around the world,
Under the yoke of the Islamic Republic, Iran is identified in your minds with terrorism, extremism, and poverty. The real Iran is a different Iran. A beautiful, peace-loving, and flourishing Iran.

He called the Crown Prince a “very nice person.”
But Trump suggested someone from within Iran might be more appropriate.
The President knows what he’s doing.
He’s not rushing into nation-building.
He’s watching carefully.
The Iranian people paid in blood for this moment.
The regime massacred tens of thousands in just two days.
But the people did not break.

History offers a roadmap.
Before the Islamic Revolution, Iran worked closely with Arab leaders.
King Faisal.
Sheik Zahid.
King Hussein.
President Sadat.
Pahlavi’s father helped defend Oman against insurgency.
Those partnerships can be rebuilt.
The Crown Prince is calling on Arab nations to recognize his transitional government.
He wants them to prepare for engagement.
He wants a Middle East our children will be proud to inherit.
The choice belongs to the Iranian people.
Pahlavi says he will not be king.
He will not be president.
He will simply deliver them to freedom.
Then his mission will be complete.
