The Department of Justice is still searching for answers about what happened in the 2020 presidential election.

The DOJ has filed a subpoena seeking the names of every election worker involved in the 2020 presidential election.

The subpoena also requests information about all volunteers who assisted Fulton County election staffers.

NBC News had the full scoop on the DOJ’s move and covered the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections’ response:

The Justice Department is seeking the names and contact information of election workers in Fulton County, Georgia, who worked during the 2020 presidential election, according to legal filings.

The Justice Department filed a subpoena in April to try to force the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections to release the names, addresses and contact information for 2020 election staff members and volunteers. The grand jury subpoena was made public Monday as the Fulton County board urged a judge to quash it. The New York Times was first to report the subpoena.

The subpoena marks an expanded effort by the Justice Department to investigate the 2020 election, which President Donald Trump has continued to focus on since he lost there.

Reached for comment, Fulton County Chairman Robb Pitts said that “the federal government once again is attempting to misuse criminal process.”

“This is yet another act of outrageous federal overreach designed to intimidate and to chill participation in elections,” Pitts said in a statement. “This harassment should not be allowed, so we have asked the Court to act. I will always stand up for our elections workers and for the truth.”

In Monday’s motion to quash the grand jury subpoena, the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections said the subpoena came out of the Justice Department’s “latest effort to target and harass the President’s perceived political enemies — this time election officials, poll workers, and volunteers in Fulton County whom Donald Trump continues to disparage as he perpetuates his false claim that they ‘stole’ the 2020 election.”
If there is no "there, there" why all the upset over 'verifying' it ? Turn over the names and put this to rest once and for all.

The news of the subpoena comes months after the FBI raided an election warehouse in Fulton County and seized ballots.

Fox 5 reported more on the raid and the affidavit used to obtain the ballots:

The search warrants and a 20-page affidavit used to seize physical ballots and digital records at the Fulton County Election Hub last month have been released. The court document shows the FBI interviewed numerous people who have questioned the legitimacy of the 2020 election.

Investigations by the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office and numerous lawsuits surrounding those claims have repeatedly found no evidence of intentional wrongdoing.

The investigation centers around a criminal investigation into potential voting law violations during the 2020 General Election.

In court documents unsealed Tuesday, the FBI revealed it is investigating whether “intentional acts” led to discrepancies in the count of 528,777 ballots in Georgia’s most populous county. The probe focuses on potential violations of federal laws governing the retention of election records and the undermining of a fair vote-counting process.

The investigation was sparked in part by a referral from the presidentially appointed Director of Election Security and Integrity. According to an affidavit filed by FBI Special Agent Hugh Raymond Evans, investigators are scrutinizing several “deficiencies” in the 2020 results:

Unfolded Ballots: Poll workers reported discovering batches of “pristine” absentee ballots that showed no signs of being folded or creased, a requirement for any ballot returned in a standard mailing envelope.
