Since returning to the White House after four years of the Biden administration, President Donald Trump has made it clear that a second-term priority involves addressing the rampant illegal immigration that resulted from the previous White House’s open-borders policies.

Naturally, Trump’s leftist critics remain perpetually outraged by his willingness to enforce the nation’s laws, as former Biden official Neera Tanden revealed during a recent CNN appearance.

Unfortunately for her, however, GOP strategist Scott Jennings was also part of the on-air panel discussion, and he wasted no time reminding her why Trump was re-elected.

As the Daily Caller reported:

President Donald Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to speed up the deportation of TdA gang members Saturday, but United States District Judge James Boasberg of the District of Columbia issued an injunction ordering the Trump administration to turn two planes carrying members of the gang to El Salvador around. Tanden objected to Trump’s call for the House of Representatives to impeach Boasberg, but Jennings pointed out the “crazy” rulings were endangering the “national security” of America.

“I don’t think we should impeach judges over rulings. But I think it’s also — if I were Donald Trump, I’d be pissed as well, because I think some of these rulings are crazy,” Jennings said. “They put the national security of the United States in danger, and he needs to be allowed to operate as the president, as the Constitution dictates.”

Republican Rep. Brandon Gill of Texas introduced a resolution to impeach Boasberg over the injunction Tuesday, The Hill reported.
“I think the question in these cases is really whether the assertions the president is making are actually true, or whether they’re doing what we‘ve seen in other cases, where they’re rounding up people who have not committed any crime, who are not — who are not criminals in the United States, and sending those people to places they‘ve never even lived before,” Tanden claimed. “So I kind of think it’s actually reasonable in our system of constitutional democracy, which we hear so many lectures from Republicans about why the Constitution is so important —”

“I know,” Jennings responded to Tanden. “Your administration let them all in. We’re trying to get rid of them. I totally get why you’re upset.”
I just introduced Articles of Impeachment against radical activist Judge James Boasberg.

Boasberg and other judges seeking to stymie Trump’s momentum have come under even more criticism recently as details emerge about their records on and off the bench:
The activist judges blocking President Trump's agenda:

Judge Reyes: Donated $38,000+ to Democrats
Judge Chuang: Long-time Democrat activist
Judge Boasberg: Daughter works at pro-illegal NGO
Judge Chutkan: Donated to Barack Obama

U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts added more fuel to the fire when he issued a statement criticizing the president:

John Roberts didn't have any press conference or press rebukes to offer when Biden repeatedly proclaimed he was ignoring a SCOTUS ruling on student loans.

We have a big problem in our judiciary branch with compromised judges, like Boasberg, who are held accountable BY NO ONE

As The Hill reported, the Trump White House also issued a clear statement denouncing the judge’s ruling:

“What began as a dispute between litigants over the President’s authority to protect the national security and manage the foreign relations of the United States pursuant to both a longstanding Congressional authorization and the President’s core constitutional authorities has devolved into a picayune dispute over the micromanagement of immaterial factfinding,” the Justice Department wrote.

The case commenced as the Trump administration invoked the Alien Enemies Act on Saturday to swiftly deport hundreds of Venezuelan migrants it says are suspected gang members. At a rare weekend hearing, Boasberg blocked the administration from moving ahead and ordered any planes to turn around.

Ever since, the plaintiffs have questioned whether the government violated the judge’s orders; the Justice Department insists that it didn’t because the migrants were already out of U.S. territory.

After the administration insisted national security concerns prevent it from sharing the flight details publicly, Boasberg, an appointee of former President Obama, set Wednesday’s deadline to provide the information to him under seal.
Here’s some additional coverage of the developing story:
