This is quite pathetic behavior.

CNN reported furtehr context on the story:
The Phils held a 4-1 lead in the fourth inning when outfielder Harrison Bader blasted a solo home run into the left field stands to extend the team’s lead.
This is where things get a little interesting.
The NBC Sports Philadelphia broadcast showed a father retrieve the ball and bring it back to his young son, when all of a sudden an unidentified woman comes out of nowhere and confronted the duo.
The father had a shocked look on his face as the woman, who was seated the row behind where he had retrieved the ball, continued to argue with him.
After some back-and-forth, the man took the ball from his son’s glove, handed it over to the woman and shooed her away.

Newsweek reported this isn’t the first case in recent weeks of older fans taking from children:
Philadelphia Phillies fan is facing backlash after a video surfaced online showing them snatching a home run ball away from a young boy during a game.
The Phillies incident is the latest in a series of unruly fan episodes at U.S. sporting events.
Just last week at the U.S. Open, Polish millionaire Piotr Szczerek was filmed snatching a hat meant for a child from tennis player Kamil Majchrzak, drawing outrage before later apologizing.
Earlier this week, a Mets supporter was caught on broadcast taking a souvenir baseball from an elderly fan during a game against the Marlins.
