Yesterday was a wild day in the world of politics.
The calm Thursday quickly turned into one of the most dramatic political days in recent years.
The drama started after President Trump told the press, “Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore. I was surprised.”
President Trump continued to tell the media that Elon was mad at the Big Beautiful Bill because it did not contain any subsidies or incentives for electric vehicle manufacturers.

Musk responded in a flurry of posts on X and called President Trump a “liar.”
Musk later accused Trump of being in the Epstein Files:
Time to drop the really big bomb:@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.
Have a nice day, DJT!

Trump hasn’t responded to Musk’s claims in a post on Truth Social.
However, a reporter did ask him the question.
Per The Hill:
President Trump on Thursday refused to take questions from reporters after a roundtable with the Fraternal Order of Police at the White House.
Reporters shouted questions about Elon Musk’s claim that the president is named in the Jeffrey Epstein files.

The left-leaning Newsweek reported that there is no evidence to suggest Trump did anything wrong with Epstein:
President Donald Trump’s name has surfaced repeatedly when it comes to the case of Jeffrey Epstein.
On Thursday, billionaire Elon Musk suggested Trump is mentioned in still-secret Justice Department files related to the late financier and convicted sex offender and that it is “the real reason they have not been made public.” Musk provided no support for the claim which emerged in a high-profile public feud with the president. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has called Musk’s claim “an unfortunate episode.”
While Trump is mentioned in some of the previously released court documents on Epstein, he has not been accused of wrongdoing. There is no evidence to suggest he is mentioned in any unreleased files related to Epstein.
