While official DNA confirmation is yet to be done, it is painfully clear that Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir Bibas were murdered after their abduction.
And yes, this was murder. We do not know the circumstances of their deaths, nor are we likely to ever fully know what happened to them, except that they were marched out of Kibbutz Nir Oz by Gazan civilians as some kind of sick trophy. We know only what Hamas wants to tell us – and they claim that “USA bombs” did it. Nope, not kidding – that’s the new line.
Hamas has placed these on the stage with a sign that reads: "They were killed by USA bombs"
These evil monsters are trying to blame the US for killing the four hostages.
Do not forget for a moment forget that Oded Lifshitz and the Bibas family were abducted from their own… pic.twitter.com/227cGRNBhU

Despite the request by the families and Israeli officials that images from the handover not be shown, I disagree. This is one of those times where evil must be looked directly in the face. And this? This is evil. Monstrous, horrific, vile evil. Evil that has been coddled and enabled by “compassionate” NGOs like the International Red Cross, who showed up to this obscenity of a “ceremony” to sign paperwork to take custody of the caskets holding a mother, a toddler, a baby, and a grandfather.
The Red Cross is enabling this display. Gone are the claims of genocide, gone are the theatrics and media propaganda, and all the usual suspects who stand with the guy in the mask are suddenly silent. https://t.co/PmntVVgUPz

Besides Shiri Bibas and her children, the body of Oded Lifshitz will also be returned. Lifshitz, whose wife Yocheved was also held as a hostage and returned in the first exchanges, was an 84 year old grandfather and peace activist that had transported Palestinians into Israel for cancer treatment. Remember, when Hamas attacked, they targeted these kibbutzim who were full of politically left-leaning Israelis seeking to live in peace with Gaza.
Palestinians murdered, raped, tortured and abducted the people who were most sympathetic to their “cause.”
They have no idea how much they lost on 10/7.— JL Sherman (@jsherman39) February 19, 2025
Those same people that Oded worked to reach out to, and tried to help, are now displaying his casket in front of vicious propaganda. Where is the outrage from the world over the death of this man, who tried to love his neighbor? Where is the outrage over the kidnapping and murder of two innocent children and their terrified mother?
It never existed. For every person who put up a poster, there was an asshole waiting to tear it down.
While many stalwarts stood for the hostages – Senator John Fetterman comes to mind – too many moral cowards with large platforms stayed silent. Those who reflect on the loss of Anne Frank can’t seem to make the connection between her, and Ariel and Kfir Bibas. “Never again” happened, was broadcast all over social media for the world to see by Hamas, and the world, by and large, stood silent. Joe Biden, who clearly was not in control of his own administration, had to be trotted out to make a statement days after October 7th – and then promptly began to undermine Israel at every turn. Contrast that with Donald Trump’s statements, and how different things could have been if the president of the United States had stood firmly behind Israel after the invasion, massacre, and abduction.
That moral clarity from the White House came far too late for the Bibas family. Compounding that horror is the fact that Shiri Bibas’s parents were also killed on October 7th. Three generations of one family are gone forever. While there will be days of mourning in Israel, and in Argentina (the Bibas family had dual citizenship, and President Milei has announced a day of mourning), the West must confront their own apathy and hypocrisy. “Never again” is happening right in front of all of us. Hamas is propagandizing with all the subtlety of a Nazi party rally.
2:27 AM in DC. I’m up studying the propaganda of Hamas as it stages manages a cruel spectacle of returning the murdered children and wife of the Bibas family. “And to Trump, the unleashed bull…” the MC breaks out in English, “with his bullshit plan…” It’s terrorism theater. pic.twitter.com/XV6ifBjA1H

Gaza must be “de-Nazified” the same way Germany was after World War II if there is ever going to be peace. The West apparently no longer has the moral stones to insist on such a thing. The Arab nations have been goosed into possibly rebuilding Gaza by President Trump’s “offer” to take it over, but the reality is that they don’t want the Gazan Palestinians in their countries, either. After all, these “civilians” were the same ones who grabbed Shiri Bibas as she held her sons for dear life, and marched them away to their deaths.
Israel wants to get all their people out – alive if possible, but the dead will not be left behind. That is why this craptastic ceasefire deal exists in the first place. Once every single hostage is out, Israel should seal off Gaza (if they choose not to turn it to glass first). No crossings, no aid, nothing. Let the Arab nations take responsibility for their fellow man. If that sounds harsh, look at the propaganda theater show they just put on to hand over murdered innocents. We are looking this evil straight in the face, and we cannot expect Israel to co-exist with monsters who take babies alive from their home, and send them back dead. This is why we are watching it. As then-General and future President Dwight D. Eisenhower once said:
“Get it all on record now – get the films – get the witnesses -because somewhere down the road of history some bastard will get up and say that this never happened.”
For every person who insists that Gaza just wants to live in peace, and that Hamas are just “freedom fighters,” remind them of two little redheaded boys who were kidnapped for no other reason than that they were Jewish Israelis. Ariel and Kfir Bibas will forever be a toddler and a baby. Kfir likely never saw his first birthday. Why were they taken? Why were they murdered? If they had been left in their home, with their mother, they would likely still be alive today. Yarden Bibas would have had a family to come home to. But like another Jewish father who was separated from his wife and two children, survived hell, and managed to return home to find that his family had been murdered, Yarden Bibas will also be burying his wife and sons, and trying to find peace.
If the world cannot look at the caskets of this mother, this toddler, this baby, and this grandfather, condemn those who abducted them and called it an “arrest” (who the hell “arrests” a toddler and a baby???), and acknowledge the evil we just witnessed, then we have all failed. And if we all fail, then this will happen again.
