Murderous violence targeting houses of worship and sadistic violence against infants and toddlers are among the worst categories of crimes a civilized society can imagine. This story involved both. And a fourteen-year old kid is at the center of it.

He was flagged online because of images involving the sexual exploitation of children in certain online chat forums. But in the same week, he was also connected with a cult flying the flag of Satan and encouraging acts which Sheriff Chad Chronister was careful not to describe with any specificity beyond the fact that it victimized infants and toddlers.

Just a couple of days after he was flagged for more than a dozen graphic images traced to his IP, they learned that explicit threats of violence (specifically a mass shooting) against an unnamed nearby church had also been made from the same IP. Most of the guns in his home are locked in gun safes, but an unsecured handgun in his father’s bedroom may have been readily accessible to him. (No mention of if the keys or codes for the safe were stored anywhere the kid could access them.)

The charges this kid faces (which may lead to others) are:

Written or Electronic Threat to Conduct a Mass Shooting or Act of Terrorism
In State Transmission of Child Pornography by Electronic Device
Solicitation or Possession of Child Pornography 10 or More Images and Content of Images (x14)
Unlawful Use of Two Way Communications Device (x2)

At this point, he is a minor and being charged accordingly, but that might yet be subject to change.

The group named by the Sheriff is called ‘Temple of Love’ and he describes them as a ‘Neonazi Satanic group’ that ‘advocates violence in the name of spiritual enlightenment’.

The tips came from a Joint Terrorism task force and a child exploitation hotline.

Two important facts from the wider political narratives we see playing out around us to keep in mind as we digest the horror of this story.

First: that even as these arrests were being made, the Media was actively defending Don Lemon as a ‘victim’ despite having actively disrupted a Church service. In case you are wondering whose side they are on here.

Second: for all the left’s demands to ‘dismantle ICE’ one of their core functions is to stop exactly the kind of child endangerment we see described in this story. More than 300,000 children disappeared under the Biden administration, without a single mention by most of the media or by ANY elected Democrats. About half of those missing kids have been recovered under Trump’s first year, due to the very federal agencies that Democrats have been trying so hard to demonize.
