The View’s Sunny Hostin says her father had fewer civil rights than she. She had more than he did. Her kids, however, will have less. While there is no evidence to back up her last point, as proven by the fact that it is a lie, leftists like her have proven time and again that there is no low too low for them to stoop to, so long as they can instill fear in the people.

According to SCOTUSblog, “The Supreme Court on Wednesday, in the case of Louisiana v. Callais, struck down a Louisiana congressional map that a group of voters who describe themselves as ‘non-African American’ had challenged as the product of unconstitutional racial gerrymandering. By a vote of 6-3, the justices left in place a ruling by a federal court that barred the state from using the map, which had created a second majority-Black district, in future elections.”

In other words, race cannot be a deciding factor when drawing congressional maps. This should not be controversial. In fact, the only people who should have a problem with this are people who believe skin color should dictate much of our lives. Or, in other words, racists. And while I am not telling you Hostin is racist, if the shoe fits — it fits.

According to Mediaite:

The View’s Sunny Hostin grew emotional when discussing how the Supreme Court’s landmark decision on the Voting Rights Act will affect her family.

“I can tell you as a Black woman that my father was born in 1949. He remembers segregated schools. He remembers segregated water fountains. He remember that he couldn’t — that he did not have full civil rights. an he told me when I turned 40 years old that I was the first person in his family to enjoy full civil rights, and he is still alive today, and I am still alive today, and I have been discriminated against. And now I have to tell my children that they have less civil rights than I did when I was born.”

“That is disgusting, despicable, and I am devastated by this particular Supreme Court decision even though, Whoopi, we did know this was coming,” Hostin added.

The scandal is not so much that these ladies lie; it is that people actually believe what they are saying is true. The level of misinformation spouted on this show should have barred them from having a platform years ago. But clearly, the left is not looking for the truth, so much as they are looking for an echo chamber to affirm their cognitive dissonance.
