The Trump administration’s State Department has implemented a “One Flag Policy” that prohibits U.S. buildings both at home and abroad from flying any other flag except for the Stars and Stripes, the Washington Free Beacon reports. The order comes after U.S. government buildings displayed flags affiliated with left-wing movements, including the pride and Black Lives Matter flags, under the Biden administration.

The order, obtained by the Free Beacon, states, “Starting immediately, only the United States of America flag is authorized to be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestic and abroad, and featured in U.S. government content. The flag of the United States of America united all Americans under the universal principles of justice, liberty, and democracy. These values, which are the bedrock of our great country, are shared by all American citizens, past and present.”

There will, however, be exceptions to the rule for the Prisoner of War/Missing in Actions (POW/MIA) flag and the Wrongful Detainees Flag.

Any employee of the State Department who does not follow the order will “face disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contract, or reassignment to their home agency.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who was swiftly confirmed in a 99-0 vote, issued the order right away as his term began.

In a Monday afternoon press conference, the White House confirmed that the “State Department will have an America-First foreign policy.”

The order to fly only the American flag above U.S. outposts falls directly in line with President Trump’s promise to unite Americans under the values and principles we all share and hold dearly. The flags of leftist causes are not unifying, but rather push extreme division between Americans. Choosing to fly such flags rather than the American flag alone, which is the ultimate and only symbol of freedom, shows nothing but disrespect and disbelief in the values the flag represents.

The American flag, however, was not enough for former President Biden and his administration as they did not see the Stars and Stripes as representative of freedom and liberty for all. Under Biden, the rainbow pride flag and the Black Lives Matter flag flew at U.S. outposts, undermining America’s status as the beacon of freedom. Both leftist movements have pinned Americans against each other and both movements have attempted to tear apart America’s foundation piece by piece and founder by founder until all that is left for Americans to hold on to is hate, division, and forceful shame.
Despite their attempt to sow hatred across America, President Trump is turning it all around, by reminding Americans that what unites us is stronger than what divides us.

In his inaugural address, President Trump told Americans, “our top priority will be to create a nation that is proud, prosperous, and free.”

“National unity is now returning to America, and confidence and pride is soaring like never before,” Trump continued. “In everything we do, my administration will be inspired by a strong pursuit of excellence and unrelenting success. We will not forget our country, we will not forget our Constitution, and we will not forget our God.”

President Trump’s pride in America reaches beyond our borders as he aims to show the world that the strong, proud, and powerful America is back, promising,“We will be a nation like no other, full of compassion, courage, and exceptionalism. Our power will stop all wars and bring a new spirit of unity to a world that has been angry, violent, and totally unpredictable.”
