The State Department has renamed the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) after President Donald Trump, with the new signage now installed on its building in Washington.
The department posted a photo of the building on Dec. 3 and said it has renamed the nonprofit organization to reflect “the greatest dealmaker in our nation’s history.”
“Welcome to the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace,” the department said in a post on X. “The best is yet to come.”
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in a social media post that Trump will be “remembered by history as the President of Peace” and that “it’s time our State Department display that.”…
