SPECIAL PROSECUTOR Named to Investigate Adam Schiff & Letitia James

Adam Schiff and Letitia James are in for a rude awakening.

Pam Bondi has appointed a Special Prosecutor to investigate both Schiff and James for fraud, among other things.

And this Special Prosecutor — once touted as “President Trump’s Favorite US Attorney” in a writeup by CNN — isn’t a Junior Varsity player.

Fox’s Laura Ingram broke the story this morning with her sources in the DOJ giving a heads up about the Special Prosecutor:

Ed Martin, known as “Eagle Ed Martin” on his personal X account, does not play around when it comes to rooting out corruption.

There’s a reason Adam Schiff put out a video earlier this year when Ed Martin was nominated to become the US Attorney for DC…

Stating that “I’m doing everything I can to block Ed Martin’s nomination to be U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia.” :

Schiff’s fear of Ed Martin, who is now a SPECIAL PROSECUTOR investigating Schiff for fraud, was that reason.

What’s that phrase again?  Oh yeah — FAFO.

And Laura Ingram’s sources inside the DOJ have proven to be right.

Martin is set to stand in Pam Bondi’s stead in the mortgage fraud investigations against both Schiff and Letitia James, as reported by Fox News:

The Department of Justice convened a grand jury to investigate New York Attorney General Letitia James, marking an escalation in President Donald Trump’s fight with New York’s top prosecutor.

The investigation is in an early stage, but Fox News Digital has learned that James’s office received subpoenas for documents this week, including for information related to her civil fraud lawsuit against Trump.

Separately, Attorney General Pam Bondi has authorized a special prosecutor, Ed Martin, to investigate allegations of mortgage fraud involving James and California Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff.

A grand jury in Virginia will investigate claims involving James. A grand jury in Maryland will investigate claims involving Schiff.

Fox News confirmed on Friday that Pardon Attorney Ed Martin, who is also leading a weaponization task force, is heading up the mortgage fraud investigation into James, as well as leading a similar investigation into Sen. Adam Schiff, D-N.Y. James’ mortgage case is based in Virginia, and Schiff’s is in Maryland. (Emphasis added.)

My understanding is that the mortgage fraud cases are to be handled by a Special Prosecutor, as opposed to a DOJ attorney, in order to avoid any semblance of political weaponization of the legal system.

After all, President Trump’s DOJ is already going after Leticia James for her years of “collusion” with her political allies for weaponizing the legal system against President Trump.

Both James and Schiff have campaigned and rallied the woke mobs against President Trump through legal entanglements for YEARS NOW.

It wouldn’t look proper for the DOJ to directly go after them both for mortgage fraud, regardless of how guilty they may be.

Enter Ed Martin, who — thanks in part to Adam Schiff — is not part of the DOJ as he would have been had his nomination gone forward.

Yep… FAFO, INDEED.

As MTG stated in her online “Thank You” to Bondi for naming Martin as Special Prosecutor — those two have gotten away with abusing their power and position for far too long:

And now, it’s time to weaponize the justice system in the way it was INTENDED to be weaponized:  FOR JUSTICE!

Bondi signed off on convening Grand Juries for both probes several days ago, including for the issue of Letitia James’ politically motivated lawsuits against President Trump over the last few years.

While the mortgage fraud case against Letitia James will now fall to Special Prosecutor Ed Martin…

It is my understanding that the probe into James’ political motivations for going after Trump will remain in Pam Bondi’s hands, as was initially reported by Fox News prior to today’s Special Prosecutor appointment:

As for Adam Schiff, the investigation into his fraud is apparently just now really moving forward.

A meeting this morning between (now) Special Prosecutor Ed Martin and President Trump’s Federal Housing Finance guy likely included a handoff of information to Martin.

It was Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte who initiated the criminal referrals for both Letitia James and Adam Schiff to the DOJ to begin with, according to a report by NBC News:

Bondi tapped Ed Martin, a conservative activist and former interim U.S. attorney for Washington, D.C., as special attorney to investigate Schiff and James, both prominent Democratic opponents of the president, the two administration officials said.

Martin met Friday morning with Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte, who sent a criminal referral on the California senator to the Justice Department in May, the administration officials said. Pulte sent a referral on James in April, prompting the Justice Department to open an investigation on allegations that she made false statements on mortgage loan applications.

Trump had previously called for both Democratic officials to be prosecuted because of the mortgage fraud allegations. Schiff and James have denied wrongdoing.

Trump has maintained that James is biased against him. In 2021, he sued to stop her from proceeding with her fraud investigation, saying, “Her mission is guided solely by political animus and a desire to harass, intimidate, and retaliate against a private citizen who she views as a political opponent.” The lawsuit also alleged that Trump was the victim of “viewpoint discrimination.”

Trump later dropped the suit, but has continued to criticize James, including in an April Truth Social post that called her a “wacky” and “totally corrupt politician” who should immediately resign.

While James’ mortgage deception was primarily uncovered by means of tracking down the paperwork and connecting the dots on her federal filings…

Adam Schiff — as he is prone to do — has effectively told on himself by means of his own big mouth.

Whoops.  If his documents didn’t align, that could potentially be shrugged off as an “error”.

Maybe.

But Schiff is used to sitting above the law while claiming “no one is above the law”.

So he probably didn’t have any reason to think his ability to talk himself out of a jam wouldn’t work.

Special Prosecutor Ed Martin will probably have a few bones to pick with Schiff — and Letitia James — on those points.
