Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama is asking pro-life Americans to flood the phone lines and emails to members of Congress to tell them to vote to defund Planned Parenthood.

Now that the House and Senate have passed the blueprint for a reconciliation bill that they will tackle after Easter, Tuberville hopes pro-life Americans will urge members of both Congressional chambers to include Planned Parenthood defunding in the final version of the bill and get it to President Donald Trump to sign.

The reconciliation measure is perhaps the best method of stopping the approximately $700 million the Planned Parenthood abortion business and the abortion industry receive annually in our tax dollars. That’s because it can pass the Senate with a majority vote – getting around the filibuster pro-abortion Democrats normally use to thwart pro-life legislation.

Tuberville hearkened back to his fight against Biden’s forcing the American military to fund abortions with tax dollars and he said he will keep fighting taxpayer funded abortions.

“You know where I stand. Back when Joe Biden launched his insane policy of reimbursing service members for travel expenses incurred for out-of-state abortions, I stood up against it,” Tuberville says in an email to pro-life advocates. “The Biden Administration, the media, and even many in my own party condemned me for holding up the Pentagon budget over this issue.  But I did not back down and will NEVER back down in the face of adversity – not when it comes to protecting precious boys and girls in the womb.”

“And for all four years of Joe Biden’s disastrous regime, I was ruthlessly attacked every time I did anything to protect babies from the abortion industry,” he added.

“Well, those days are over. The pro-abortion zealots are gone from the White House and from the Senate majority,” Tuberville explained. “Now, working with Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, I am fighting to stop your tax dollars from funding the abortion industry.”

“Abortion is the leading cause of death in America, and they shouldn’t get one penny of your hard-earned money,” Tuberville explained.

Ultimately the Republican senators hopes pro-life Americans will call and email their lawmakers and urge defunding.

“But many other senators here need to know that our pro-life movement is united… that caring citizens like you are paying close attention… that you are taking down names of any politician who dares give your money to Planned Parenthood or anyone else profiting from the deaths of tiny boys and girls,” he concludes.
