The following is an installment of Trump-Vance team accomplishments (each article is linked for further info):
1. VP Vance: Trump Will ‘Not Ask Permission from Far-Left Democrats’ to Deport Criminal Aliens
During a Thursday interview, Vance warned that President Trump will “not ask permission from far-left Democrats” to fulfill his promise to the American people to remove criminal illegal aliens from the country.
The president used the Alien Enemies Act which is an 18th-century wartime law that allows a president to deport individuals without them facing an immigration judge to remove Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national who is a member of the deadly MS-13 gang.
Vance said the Trump administration is doing “the American people’s business” by deporting illegal aliens with lengthy criminal records.
Further:
Back in 2019, an immigration judge looked at all the evidence, looked at all the data and concluded that this allegedly innocent person that we sent to El Salvador was actually a member of an MS-13 gang.
He had also committed some traffic violations, he had not shown up for some court dates.
And:
This is not exactly father of the year here, this is a person that we don’t think should be in our country.
Vance concluded:
This was unquestionably an illegal alien, this was unquestionably a person who broke the laws to get into our country, this is unquestionably a person who an immigration judge had found had zero right to be in the United States of America.
2. DOGE Found VA Contract Paying $380K a Month for Minor Website Maintenance
The contract was not renewed, and the work is now being done internally by a VA software engineer who is spending only 10 hours a week on maintenance—bringing the maintenance in-house will save the VA $4.5M+ annually.
On Wednesday, DOGE shared on X:
Good work by @DeptVetAffairs. VA was previously paying ~$380,000/month for minor website modifications.
The Gateway Pundit reported in March:
VA Secretary Doug Collins announced cuts of $900 Million after reviewing only 2% of unnecessary contracts.
On Wednesday, Collins told Fox News that, while there are some great folks at the VA:
What has been surprising to me is the lack of really any sense of control over an organization that is bigger than the active-duty Army.
Further:
When I first got there, I had no control…I had no way to know where all of our employees were. I heard 450, 470, 480,000 people, yet I had no Human Resource system that could show me all of my employees.
And:
How can you manage a business or a company or a bureaucracy if you don’t even know where the people are?
3. President Trump Fired at Least Three “Neocon” National Security Staffers from the NSC
A “neocon” bloodbath occurred at the NSC Thursday, thanks to conservative journalist Laura Loomer.
As reported:
[O]ne firing came as a direct result of Trump’s meeting with Loomer. [W]hether the others were related or already in the works [is currently unknown].
Brian Walsh, a director for intelligence and a former lead staffer for now-Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Thomas Boodry, a senior director for legislative affairs who formerly served as NSA Director Mike Waltz’s legislative director in Congress.
David Feith, a senior director overseeing technology and national security. He previously served in the State Department during Trump’s first administration.
CNN reported it’s unclear whether another (Wong) was also let go. Axios said up to 10 members of the NSC staff may have been fired.
Laura Loomer responded to today’s news with a statement on X, which she later gave to CNN:
Out of respect for President Trump and the privacy of the Oval Office, I’m going to decline on divulging any details about my Oval Office meeting with President Trump.
Further:
It was an honor to meet with President Trump and present him with my research findings.
And:
I will continue working hard to support his agenda, and I will continue reiterating the importance of, and the necessity of STRONG VETTING, for the sake of protecting the President of the United States of America, and our national security.
4. Union Workers Say Trump’s Tariffs Are a “Very Positive Thing” for the Auto and Steel Industries
James Benson Jr., an auto worker from Michigan, and Indiana steelworker Matt Novak both expressed optimism about their industries due to the tariffs.
Benson said he and others in his industry struggled to find work under Democrat leadership because of the number of auto plants that shut down. He credited Trump with returning auto jobs to the U.S. by enacting tougher policies on foreign countries.
Trump said:
[T]he tariff on all vehicles and automobile parts imported to the U.S. on Wednesday are meant to protect the auto industry, which had been undermined by excessive imports.
The automobile worker scoffed at the Democrats’ criticisms of the tariffs and said:
[J]obs will return to the U.S. in even bigger numbers than it did during Trump’s first term.
Novak argued:
[T]he tariffs will allow for more job creation in the U.S. because there will be less products being imported into the U.S. from overseas.
During the president’s announcement, Auto Workers for Trump leader Brian Pannebecker said:
[U]nion workers in the automobile industry, including Union Auto Workers members, support the president’s tariffs.
Novak agreed, having argued:
[T]he tariffs will stop the massive influx of auto parts being imported from foreign countries and thus allow for more American manufacturing.
Further:
It increases everything with the steel industry, the aluminum industry, with everybody that applies everything for every vehicle that every American owns, it’s gonna increase.
And:
It’s gonna create more jobs, it’s gonna be much better. Tax revenue, everything is going to be so much better for all of us and I think it’s a very positive thing.
5. A 104-Year-Old WWII Veteran Requested President Trump Attend His Birthday Party
In the viral TikTok video, Denver Moore sat proudly wearing his red MAGA hat with a beaming smile as he delivered a personal invitation to President Trump.
I’m going to be 104 in May and I’m inviting you to my birthday party the 17th.

Further:
I got to vote for you again, and I hope I get to vote for you some more.
Allison Dudley, the family friend who filmed and uploaded the video, added her own pitch to the President:
He’s a World War II veteran—Army Air Corps. You should come and visit him. He wants you here for his birthday.
Moore was born when Warren G. Harding was president, he grew up on a farm in Noble County, Ohio, and worked at Hercules Engine Co. before being drafted into service in 1942.
After bravely serving his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII, Moore returned home to become a U.S. Postal Service worker and raise a family. Now, as he approaches his 104th birthday on May 15th (with the party planned for the 17th), he continues to display the patriotism that defined his generation.
Moore told local reporters:
It’s a wonderful country. I’m glad God gave us the United States.
