The chaos stirred up across American streets by those offended by President Trump’s ENFORCEMENT of the LAW… has claimed another victim.
She’s going to be okay — she’s in stable condition in the hospital.
But she’s lucky the extent of her injuries isn’t much greater, considering she decided to go toe-to-toe against a vehicle that outweighed her by at least 1,500 pounds.
The altercation between the ‘No Kings’ protestor and her adversary — a car — happened on the streets of Riverside, CA in the greater Los Angeles area this past Sunday.
Suffice it to say, the protestor lost that match. And it wasn’t even close.
I want to warn you in advance that you can clearly see her get mowed down… like a flimsy weed in the path of a 50″ Zero-Turn.
But then again, if you’re one of our readers, you likely don’t need the warning.
It was, after all, a fairly predictable outcome at every point in the conflict.
Here’s that footage:
This protester stood in front of a car and then got run over! Was this justified?

That situation almost defies commentary.
And if you think THAT was… STUPID — check out the view from the OTHER side of the car.
Last I checked, “stupider” wasn’t a word.
But the spell check is accepting it, so that’s how I’m describing this event as seen from the other side of the action:

That’s not a good day for anyone involved, but definitely a far less good day for her than her rival — the CAR.
Predictably, the vehicle did not budge when the anti-Trump protestor “makes an attempt to shove the vehicle back”, as described in this report from the New York Post:
Dramatic footage shows the chaotic moment a frustrated driver ran over the leg of a “No Kings” protester who was trying to block the vehicle’s path in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday.
The woman confronts a burgundy sedan with what appears to be California plates at an intersection, and first stands in front of the car and puts her hands on the hood, according to video circulating on X.
The car rolls slowly toward the protester, who doesn’t move and makes an attempt to shove the vehicle back.
The driver of the sedan, which had the green light, then speeds up and the demonstrator, who appears to be in her early 20s, goes tumbling to the ground before the car’s front right wheel rolls over her lower leg.
The video shows the woman screaming in pain. Another protester tried to obstruct the car, but he managed to move out of the way before it barreled over him.
After the car rolls over the woman’s leg, the driver of the car flees as other protesters rush over and try to offer aid. The video shows that there is also an occupant in the passenger seat.
A police helicopter was seen flying over the scene of the hit-and-run, presumably to look for the suspect, according to KTLA. There are no arrests and the incident remains under investigation.
As I said, that’s almost beyond commentary.
But a picture can be worth a thousand words:

-Protesters get ran over

I’m reminded of the practical, yet philosophically accurate words of that sage Floridian… Gov. Ron DeSantis:
Gov. Ron DeSantis says that Floridians are ALLOWED to drive over protesters in the street, if they feel like their life is in danger..
LOVE this!

Unfortunately for that driver, if the person is ever caught or comes forward, he doesn’t live in a state governed by a person with a brain.
It might not be your fault if you run over someone trying to stop your forward progress on the streets of FLORIDA… but in Cali, they look at things a tad bit different.
I don’t have to look them up to know the laws in California are unquestionably DIFFERENT from those in Florida — and everywhere else, for that matter — concerning the legality of this situation.
That said… don’t stand in the way of CARS, people!
You’re going to lose every time. Every… single… time.
And here’s a stark reminder of why that driver did exactly as that driver should have done once confronted by an angry group of people trying to block him in:
If you wonder why I approve of Florida saying that you can run over protesters who are in the road trying to stop your vehicle, this is why.

‘No Kings’ supporters are trying to say you can’t do that — that’s wrong!
Well… 1992 called, and it determined that is a LIE.
But as propriety would demand, the authorities in that shining city on a hill known as Los Angeles are trying to track down the driver of the vehicle.
I’m sure they only want to ensure his vehicle didn’t sustain too much trauma after all it went through.
But they want to talk to the person driving that red car nonetheless, as reported by the local ABC News Affiliate out of Los Angeles:
Police in Riverside are searching for the driver of an SUV who drove through a crowd of people during Saturday’s “No Kings Day” protest, seriously injuring a demonstrator.
Investigators are going through different videos of the incident, some of which were taken and posted on social media by demonstrators who were there.
Police are also looking at the footage captured on city cameras.
“We’d like that driver to contact us,” said Ryan Railsback, the public information officer for the Riverside Police Department. “We’d like to know their side of the story. They did flee the scene, and someone got seriously injured, but we want to talk to them and figure out their side. We still don’t have all that information.”
The protest, which brought out more than 5,000 people to Riverside, was largely non-violent. Only minor vandalism was reported at the historic courthouse.
Anyone with information on the hit-and-run is urged to contact police.
Once again, brawn wins out over brains in today’s tale.
Though I have to admit to applying the word ‘brains’ rather liberally in this scenario. (See what I did just there?)
At the end of the day, the red vehicle presumably made it back home safely, and after some recoup time in the area hospital, the brainiac who decided to take on a CAR in the middle of the road probably will, too.
This time.
But not before a few days or so of hospital Jell-O and likely a few mended broken bones.
