FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino made an appearance on Fox News where he provided further clarification and revealed additional evidence that he says proves deceased pedophile human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein did, in fact, commit suicide.
In the interview, Bongino dropped a bombshell, saying there is video footage in existence that shows Epstein killed himself. He went on to state that the video will soon be released to the public.
Epstein, a financier and convicted sex offender, was discovered dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center located in New York City in August 2019. At the time of his death, he was awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
The billionaire’s death was officially ruled a suicide by hanging. However, the circumstances surrounding his departure from his mortal coil have been shrouded in mystery due to a number of inconsistencies.
Lapses in jail protocols, surveillance camera malfunctions, and other strange things have led to conspiracy theories concerning the how and why of Epstein’s passing.
Deputy Director Bongino reviewed the entirety of the file and came to the conclusion that Epstein’s death was a suicide, saying, “He killed himself. I’ve seen the whole file. He killed himself.”
He then emphasized that the case file contains no evidence to suggest there was foul play involved.
Bongino’s boss, FBI Director Kash Patel, echoed his deputy’s assessment. Both went on to acknowledge the right of the public to question official narratives; however, they stood by their conclusion based on the evidence available.
“Listen, they have a right to their opinion,” Patel stated during an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” concerning skeptics of his conclusion. “As someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor, who’s been in that prison system, who’s been in the Metropolitan Detention Center, who’s been in segregated housing, you know a suicide when you see one, and that’s what that was.”
Despite the affirmations of Epstein’s death by suicide, the deceased’s brother, Mark Epstein, is still maintaining his belief that the ruling is inaccurate. The billionaire’s sibling suggested there’s a long list of evidence that points to his brother being murdered.
The surviving Epstein slammed the FBI for their conclusions, attempting to make the case that they lacked firsthand knowledge of the autopsy report and crime scene.
A growing number of President Donald Trump’s supporters have expressed frustration over the FBI’s conclusions, believing there is a cover-up to protect powerful individuals from being exposed for their involvement in Epstein’s death.
While debate on the topic continues to rage on, leadership at the bureau is remaining steadfast in their conclusion, placing an emphasis on their commitment to remain transparent and uphold the rule of law. The FBI has also indicated they are willing to reevaluate the case if new, credible evidence is discovered.
