I’m not a big Country Music Fan, so until last night I had never heard the song “Till You Can’t”.

Here’s the history of it:

The song “‘Til You Can’t” (often stylized as “Till You Can’t”) was originally written by songwriters Ben Stennis (also credited as Benjamin Stennis) and Matt Rogers (also credited as Matthew Rogers or Matthew J. Rogers).

They co-wrote it around 2016, based on multiple reports from industry celebrations and interviews (e.g., a 2022 No. 1 party noted it was written in 2016, and other sources describe it as penned “around six years ago” relative to 2022 coverage).

Cody Johnson did not write the song—he recorded and released it as his own single in October 2021 (from the album Human: The Double Album), where it became a major hit, reaching No. 1 on country charts and winning a Grammy for Best Country Song (awarded to the writers). The song emphasizes living life fully and cherishing moments with loved ones “till you can’t.”

Really amazing song.

But as Eric Metaxas notes below, it’s almost like the song was unfinished and incomplete until Kid Rock added the final verse.

This is truly a stunning performance, musically, lyrically and of course the added cherry on top as Kid Rock uses this moment to preach the Gospel to millions who tuned

Also a very touching tribute to Charlie Kirk:

Watch the full song here, truly incredible:

And the full show is here if you missed it.

But Kid Rock was definitely the standout star:

Meanwhile, the show the NFL put on was pure trash.

Truly disgusting:
