FOX Weather Meteorologist Ari Sarsalari tracked a spotter-confirmed tornado Thursday night outside of Quail, Texas.

“The weather will be quite active across the lower 48 today. Severe storms are forecast across the central US. Critical fire weather conditions are forecast across areas of TX, NM and OK. High wind warning and wind advisories are posted for some areas out West. Snow is falling across portions of the Rockies, Upper Midwest and New England. Scattered rain and thunderstorms are forecast across much of the East,” the National Weather Service stated on Friday.
