In a jurisdiction controlled by leftists, there is one key qualification to be Chief of Police: an obsequious willingness to serve moonbattery at the expense of public safety.

Brian O’Hara of Minneapolis is a case in point. He obediently turned up the temperature by encouraging citizens to call the police on ICE agents for enforcing federal law. He was personally present when the Minneapolis police retreated before a mob that was laying siege to a hotel because they believed federal agents to be sleeping there. The violence he has helped escalate got another pawn killed on Saturday.

Alex Pretti messed with the bull and got the horns — deservedly, as a thorough investigation is likely to confirm. But O’Hara doesn’t care what the investigation finds.

Actual quote, via PJ Media:

“I think the greater issue is, even if there is an investigation that ultimately proves that at the time of the shooting it was legally justified, I don’t think that even matters at this point, because there just — there is so much outrage and concern around what is happening in the city.…People have had enough!”

Out of the mouths of moonbats sometimes comes truth. It doesn’t matter whether the shooting was justified. All that matters is that Democrats and the media can exploit it to splash more gasoline on the fire, so as to further destabilize the country and to prevent the defense of America’s borders in furtherance of the Great Replacement.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara says even if an investigation proves the shooting was legally justified, it doesn’t matter because people are mad at ICE.
