Leftists file lawsuits like they hand out participation trophies: frequently and frivolously. It’s their sport, with their specialty of suing Conservative media outlets, that is when they aren’t outright banning dissenting voices.

Take the case of Alex Jones. The man was hit with over a billion dollars in judgments, not for committing a crime but for voicing an opinion. The system colluded against him in what could only be described as a kangaroo court with an unlimited budget for ruin. But now, the Leftist media are tasting their own medicine.

Trump’s $10 Billion Gauntlet

But with President Trump back in the driver’s seat, the Left’s usual playbook may have been shredded.

President Trump’s latest salvo? A $10 billion lawsuit against CBS. In his lawsuit, President Trump alleges that CBS’s “60 Minutes” interview with Kamala Harris was an exercise in voter interference disguised as journalism. Filed in the Northern District of Texas—a jurisdiction critics have derided as “judge shopping” territory—the suit claims CBS deceptively edited Harris’s interview to sanitize her infamous word salads into palatable sound bites.

Trump’s legal team has demanded the unedited transcript of the interview, exposing what they believe to be a blatant act of election manipulation. According to Trump, CBS crossed the line from biased reporting to outright deception, a move he says warrants serious consequences, including the loss of their broadcast license.

And the Left is panicking. First Amendment attorneys called the lawsuit “frivolous,” but the trembling in their voices says otherwise.

The View’s Sudden Crisis of Conscience

Meanwhile, over at The View, panic mode has been activated. Twice in the past week, the cackling coven of co-hosts has issued retractions.

Here’s the second legal “cya” statement:

Yes, the same show known for verbal flamethrowers against Conservatives is now tiptoeing around its own rhetoric.

For years, Conservatives have endured the wrath of cancel culture—booted off platforms, demonetized, or silenced entirely. Now, the Leftist media are being forced to experience a fraction of that scrutiny. The irony here is thicker than Joy Behar’s New York accent.

Suddenly, the threat of losing one’s job over a reckless comment doesn’t seem so funny. Self-policing is becoming their new norm, proving that even the loudest Leftists can learn humility when faced with a Trump-sized spotlight.

The Decline of the Propaganda Machine

The bigger story, however, is the slow implosion of Leftist media giants. Comcast has hinted at selling off MSNBC, signaling the end of an era for the network once infamous for its anti-Trump hysteria. Shows like The View are unlikely to remain untouched, as public patience for their brand of vitriol continues to wane.

Perspective and Reactions

Some commentators argue that Trump’s lawsuits are about accountability, not revenge. Legal analyst and Constitutional scholar Mark Levin noted that “if media outlets weaponize their platforms to skew elections, they’re no longer protected by journalistic privilege—they’re activists.”

Others, like Glenn Greenwald, who has criticized corporate media from the Left, believe this reckoning is long overdue. As he pointed out, “The same media crying foul over Trump’s lawsuits cheered when Alex Jones was financially annihilated. Hypocrisy doesn’t even begin to cover it.”

What’s Next?

The Leftist media empire, once untouchable, now faces an existential crisis. Trump’s lawsuits signal a shift in the cultural tide, where media manipulation comes with real consequences. For now, the propagandists are scrambling to recalibrate. But the days of unchecked bias may finally be numbered.

The message is clear: Play fair, or pay the price. And for the first time in decades, the media may finally have to choose the former.

But the lawsuits won’t be limited to media. I suspect there will be personal lawsuits waged. And if that’s what it takes to right the ship, then that’s the Leftists’ new cost of admission.
