As Russian forces encircle, destroy and capture Ukrainian belligerents on Russian lands by the Donbass, a reality is dawning on the growing darkness of Ukraine. Russia is hitting coal mining sites, Russia is hitting train locomotives which haul coal and Russia is now systematically wiping out the energy grid in Ukraine, with the latest success, in unhooking Ukraine from the European generation plants.

This is strategic warfare, which probably needs explanation as John the hero McCain, lectured Barack Birther Hussein Obama when the foreigner misused the terms of tactics and strategy.
Strategy is an overall order of battle for success, tactics are the methods to achieve the outcome of the strategy for success.

In short, Russia is turning off the power grid in Ukraine, as Ukraine does not have any systems to strike on Russian power generation, except the strikes which hit the stations which were not protected. Moscow protects Moscow and other key areas, but leaves Belgorod to absorb hits, that is strategy.

Kiev is at this moment telling it’s million of citizens to get out of the Kiev and other large cities and go dwell in the mud huts of the villages as the power will not be on in the big cities.
If Kiev does not have a plan to have the water lines drained, the entire country will be a sewer pit by spring in everything breaking from ice damage.

This is depopulation of metro areas, like Kiev. Remove the civilians, and then you can blow the bajesus out of the city, where the rats like Zellinskyy are in their rat bunkers, to drive them out to the Ukraine West, which is being hit now too.

Dozens of different Russian missiles and kamikaze UAVs were recorded hitting the Kalush and Burshtyn Thermal Power Plants (participating in the power flow via a 400 kV transmission line from Slovakia) in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Ladyzhyn Thermal Power Plant and the 750/330/110/10 kV Vinnytska substation (the most powerful substation of the Ukrenergo Southwestern Energy System) in the Vinnytsia region, gas infrastructure facilities (the Dashava UGS facility) and the Dobrotvir Thermal Power Plant in the Lviv region, and the 330 kV Mykolaivska substation in the Mykolaiv region. It is worth noting that the Ladyzhyn, Dobrotvir, and Burshtyn Thermal Power Plants provided power flows to the western regions and the ENTSO-E (European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity) electricity export/import lines along the Burshtyn-Muzna (Poland) branch. The strikes against them made it possible to break the energy ring between Ukraine and the European Union.

The Dnieper Hydroelectric Power Station in the Zaporizhia Oblast and the Dniester Hydroelectric Power Station in the Chernivtsi Oblast were also hit. Fires and damage were reported at all of the above-mentioned facilities, leaving most of Ukraine without power, and rail service was partially paralyzed. In total, targets, including military and logistics facilities, were hit in 14 regions of Ukraine.

The Russian Armed Forces deployed all components: strategic aviation, missile forces, hypersonic systems of various basings, and the navy. The following were used: 25 Kh-101 cruise missiles from seven Tu-95MS aircraft, two Kh-59 cruise missiles, one Kh-31P anti-radar missile, eight Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic hypersonic missile systems, 12 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Project 11356 frigates Admiral Makarov and Admiral Essen launched from the Black Sea, and 15 Iskander-M tactical ballistic missiles.

Ukraine will be what the German Reich faced in World War II. No electric, no facilities, no fuel and the cold as a weapon.

The more pressure which is put upon Ukraine, the mud huts of the hinterlands will have people skipping the mud and the hut and streaming west into Europe.
