Quick side note. Actually, two. The first is for everyone to remember this Axios article from a few months ago, where DEMOCRATS are concerned about how violent the left is getting. Now that Democrats are concerned, the media thinks it’s no longer “paranoia” to be worried about what the left has turned into, I guess.

The second is that JD Vance gave his speech on Monday morning. On Monday evening, Destiny, one of the most popular progressive thought leaders on the far left, said that if we wanted Charlie Kirk to be alive, we shouldn’t have reelected Donald Trump.

JD Vance, the sitting vice president of the United States, entered into the official record what most of us have been feeling yet unable to articulate. What happened to Charlie Kirk was the nightmare scenario that kept the right up at night for years. We’ve been threatened, attacked, and doxxed by the left, and THEN told by Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) none of it was true.

Now that it is true, as if it wasn’t after either of the two assassination attempts on Donald Trump’s life, we’re told that we need to unite. After all, the Democrats are calling for unity! Even though I know that you know they don’t mean it. They are saying what is politically expedient today, so they can go back to saying anyone who disagrees with them is destroying democracy and needs to be stopped by any means necessary. Or claiming our law enforcement officers are the equivalent of slave patrols.

These bars from Vance are key:

There is no unity with people who scream at children over their parents’ politics. There is no unity with someone who lies about what Charlie Kirk said in order to excuse his murder. There is no unity with someone who harasses an innocent family the day after the father of that family lost a dear friend. There is no unity with the people who celebrate Charlie Kirk’s assassination

And there is no unity with the people who fund these articles, who pay the salaries of these terrorist sympathizers who argue that Charlie Kirk—a loving husband and father—deserved a shot to the neck because he spoke words with which they disagree.

Vance then pledged that they are going after the leftist organizations — the taxpayer-funded organizations– that have been fomenting this hatred for years.

Did you know that the George Soros Open Society Foundation and the Ford Foundation—the groups that funded that disgusting article justifying Charlie’s death—do you know they benefit from generous tax treatment? They are literally subsidized by you and me, the American taxpayer. And how do they reward us? By setting fire to the house built by the American family over 250 years.

Everything has changed. Enough is enough.
