Like driving a silver cross through the heart of Dracula—final, righteous, and long overdue.

Holding UNRWA Accountable

After years of evidence tying the UN agency to Hamas, Israel moves to demolish UNRWA’s East Jerusalem headquarters and cut its utilities—ending the humanitarian façade that aided, abetted and shielded jihad terror.

To anyone paying attention over the past several decades, United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees had devolved into little more than a Hamas-adjacent infrastructure hub. As reported by Times of Israel, Israeli forces entered the compound with bulldozers at dawn, tearing down buildings long accused of serving terror interests under UN cover.

This demolition follows years of Israeli legislative action and mounting evidence that UNRWA colluded with Hamas operatives and participated—directly or indirectly—in terrorist activity. The fiction of neutrality finally collapsed under the weight of reality.

The United Nations, predictably, is furious. UNRWA issued dire warnings, invoking the International Court of Justice, claiming Israel is obligated to facilitate the agency’s operations and insisting Jerusalem has no jurisdiction over its own capital. The threat? Strongly worded statements and moral posturing from the same institutions that enabled jihadist indoctrination for decades.

And Israel is not stopping there.

Energy and Infrastructure Minister Eli Cohen announced that Israel will begin cutting water and electricity to UNRWA facilities operating inside the country, according to The Jerusalem Post—a long-overdue severing of life support to an agency that outlived its legitimacy years ago.

This is not an “attack.”
It is accountability.

The end of UNRWA’s physical presence marks the collapse of a corrupt structure that shielded terror behind humanitarian branding—and Israel has finally stopped pretending otherwise.

A fitting end for the facilities that housed the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. Those who’ve watched closely these past few decades have grown to recognize that the UN agency had become a virtual extension of Hamas. Times of Israel: Israel on Tuesday began demolishing the East Jerusalem headquarters of UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees and their descendants, with Israeli forces entering the compound with bulldozers and other demolition equipment in the early morning and destroying buildings in what UNRWA called an “unprecedented attack.” The move to demolish UNRWA’s headquarters comes after years of legislative measures against the agency, which Israel accuses of collusion with Hamas and participation in terror activities (Times of Israel).

The UN is very upset. They may even pen an angry memo to Israel. UN: These actions, together with previous arson attacks and a large-scale disinformation campaign, fly in the face of the ruling in October by the International Court of Justice, which restated that Israel is obliged under international law to facilitate UNRWA’s operations, not hinder or prevent them. The court also stressed that Israel has no jurisdiction over East Jerusalem. There can be no exceptions. This must be a wake-up call (UNRWA).

More: Israel will begin shutting down the United Nations Relief Works Agency’s water and electricity in facilities located in the country starting tomorrow, Energy and Infrastructure Minister Eli Cohen (Likud) told The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday (JPost).

Long overdue. UNRWA is a pro-Hamas and anti-Semitic terrorist supporting organization. They teach ‘Palestinian’ children to hate and murder Jews. They have no place in Israel.

Israel begins dismantling process of banned UNRWA’s Jerusalem headquarters

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres called on Israel to halt its demolition of the UNRWA compound and restore it and other UNRWA premises to the world body “without delay.”

By Jerusalem Post, Jan 19th, 2026

Israeli personnel arrived to dismantle the UNRWA (UN Relief Works Agency) headquarters on Ammunition Hill in northern Jerusalem on Tuesday morning.
Ammunition Hill is the central headquarters from which all of the organization’s activities in the West Bank and Jerusalem were managed. UNRWA’s main logistical infrastructure was concentrated within the building.

Israel Police noted that security forces were at the scene to ensure the safety of workers demolishing the site, which had been vacant for at least a year.
