Recently, Michelle Obama was the subject of a photoshoot, where she was photographed wearing a gray t-shirt and jeans (trying to compete with Sydney Sweeney, perhaps?)

Mrs. Obama shared a behind-the-scenes video from the photoshoot, showing her hair and makeup team attending to her.

Watch for yourself:

Apparently, the point of this photoshoot was for a photobook called Women by Annie Leibovitz.

From Hola:

On Friday, Nov. 21, the former first lady posted a new photo on social media, shot by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz as part of the updated edition of her photo book Women. In the portrait, Obama wears a dark gray henley, slightly distressed blue jeans, a brown leather belt, and matching brown suede heeled boots. Her eyes are closed, her braids blowing gently in the wind, creating a calm, natural moment.

However, the timing of this photoshoot is extremely ironic, seeing how, just a few weeks ago, she was complaining about how it was “necessity” — not a luxury — to have a “glam team” during her time as First Lady.

Talk about being tone deaf and entirely narcissistic to the point of delusion!

While promoting her book, Obama told ABC News’ Robin Roberts about how hard her life was.

For reference, here’s that clip:

It’s only fair to conclude, then, that Michelle Obama must have hated the whole photoshoot ordeal.

It must have been dreadfully hard for her to suffer through having a whole staff of helpers on hand to fix her hair, makeup, and outfit.

The whole nation must pity her!

Take a look at some of these responses:

This one is just hilarious:

What do you guys think?

Is Michelle Obama’s life really as difficult as she makes it out to be?
