Liberalism infantilizes a society by encouraging people to believe that whoever cries the most piteously will be granted their desires. The result is grown adults who behave like 2-year-olds. For example, a British airline passenger whose demand for a seat with more legroom was not met responded by lying on the floor so that he had to be dragged off the plane:
