The so-called ‘whistleblower’ was just as bogus as the yarn Schiff told in his characterization of the Zelenskyy phone call. And now we have proof.

If the impeachment zealots had bothered to apply traditional standards of evidence to ANY of the allegations brought against Trump, the case would never have been brought, let alone advanced to the Senate. There was no opportunity to cross-examine accusers. No GOP-friendly witnesses were permitted to speak, testimony was given in the SCIF, and Schiff (who leaked like a sieve) allowed nothing exculpatory to be declassifies where they could be mentioned in open hearings. And that’s just the conduct of House Dems.

With Tulsi officially declassifying information that would have blown their case to pieces had it become public some time before Pelosi was making her custom monogrammed Impeachment Pens, we now learn a few uncomfortable facts about the whistleblower/accuser.

The information was second-hand hearsay — inadmissible in court.
Whistleblower lied about his collusion with House Democrats — disqualifying.
Key witness was one of the authors of the ‘Russia Hoax’, and colleague of Peter ‘Insurance policy’ Strzok.
IC IG blew off DOJ guidance to inform Congress about the corrupted whistleblower process. (ie: Withholding of exculpatory information)

Paul Sperry has been all over this story for years:

The rest of it is summarized by Just The News, which has been similarly dogged on the Ukraine story.

The declassified memos written by investigators for Atkinson, who first handled the CIA analyst’s complaint, flagged the Ukraine whistleblower, Eric Ciaramella, for having a “potential for bias,” elicited an apology from him for misleading the probe about his prior contact with staffers on the Democrat-led House Intelligence Committee, showed he criticized GOP congressmen, recounted that he asked to hide his complaint from Republicans on the intelligence committee, pointed to his close links to then-Vice President Joe Biden’s efforts in Ukraine, and more.

The 2019 also laid out multiple, self-admitted potential biases tied to Ciaramella’s Democratic registration, his work for Biden, his knowledge of corruption-related discussions on Ukraine, his view that he had been pushed out of the Trump NSC because of rightwing bloggers, and more – some of which were never made public until Sunday, and many of which were concealed from House investigators when the intelligence community inspector general appeared before them in October 2019.

“During his preliminary investigation into President Trump’s July 2019 phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, former IC IG Michael Atkinson did not follow standard IG procedures,” the ODNI said Monday. — Just The News (Jerry Dunleavy)

From the very beginning, there have been calls for the impeachment to be expunged.

Since the predicate that led to the impeachment is now proven to be an act of corruption, it makes sense for the result of that corrupt act to be struck down with it.

In an interview on Just The News, Harvard Law prof, Allan Dershowitz was asked about the possibility of seeking the impeachment to be expunged.

Famed Harvard law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz says he believes President Donald Trump could have grounds to expunge his 2019 impeachment in the House after bombshell new evidence revealed the intelligence community failed to disclose that his main accuser had the potential for bias, made a false statement and only had hearsay to back up his allegations.

Dershowitz, a Democrat at the time who worked to defend Trump at the impeachment trial that ended in the president’s acquittal, said it would be “an interesting, novel approach” for Trump to go to Chief Justice John Roberts, who presided over the case, or Congress and ask for the impeachment to be reversed because the defense team was denied the right to confront his accusers with exculpatory evidence.

“It’s never been done. I don’t see any reason why it couldn’t be done,” Dershowitz said during an interview Monday night on the Just the News, No Noise television show. “Impeachment is a quasi-judicial procedure, whether you have to go back to Congress and ask them to expunge it or go to the courts.

“But I have to tell you one thing, history will expunge it already based on your work, because what you’ve done is you’ve created so much doubt about the credibility of the main accuser that it’s hard for anybody to sit back now and say that was a just, a just impeachment, but I don’t know that there’s going to be any remedy,” he added. “Maybe we should try to create one.” —JustTheNews

Honestly, that all fits with what ClashDaily has been saying all along about was written about destroying and/or impeaching Trump in the ‘Media Matters: War Plan 2017‘ Document where David Brock laid out the exact plan and parties involved in the endless war on Trump that began even before he was sworn in.

Which takes us to the last step in the story. The potential boomerang.

In a world where there are all kinds of cagey ways that highly-connected partisans can wriggle out of anything resembling accountability. especially in venues where the courts are aligned with the bad guys, we’ve learned to manage our expectations. But even with that caveat in place, there is a non-zero possibility that orchestrated treason against the will of the people itself might not go (entirely) unpunished.

MSN has published a news snippet claims the FBI is looking into the content of the declassified information which had not previously been made available to lawmakers.

Could it be nothing?

Sure.

But if you’ll recall, Tulsi has also referred Obama for criminal investigation with respect to his role in the Crossfire Hurricane interference with Trump’s election… and there have been reports of people like Comey being called up for Grand Jury testimony.

We literally have no idea what is or is not playing out behind the scenes. But the lengths to which the current administration is going to unearth and expose shady deals and operations from days gone by is something we will take as a positive sign giving some modest measure of optimism in the larger game.
