The following article, I disagree with Prager on How to Handle the Left, was first published on The Black Sphere.

Dennis Prager wrote recently that we have little hope of bridging the Left-Right divide. I understand how he and many others have come to this way of thinking. And that’s the thinking that has Conservatives always playing defense.

Prager wrote:

Millions of Americans, depressed by the ideological divide in America, harbor a wish that something or someone can bridge this divide.

This wish is understandable. But it is fantasy. The divide is unbridgeable. One might as well wish that daily consumption of a hot fudge sundae will lead to weight loss.

He then gave reasons as to why we will never agree with the Left. But therein lies the problem. Agreeing with them. I know, I know. The explanation will come soon, so read on.

How did we get here, Part 1?

Well, Leftists are insane. That’s a fact that Prager notes and that any, repeat any conservative knows. Nothing Leftists say makes sense. They want open borders, to defund the police, and they have the fiscal responsibility of a 5-year-old. Their ideas make good theories at best. However, in practical application they fail miserably almost every time.

Leftists steal good ideas from us, like charity for example. Then they expand the idea well beyond the breaking point. So in the case of charity, it’s expanded to the lazy and the ruthless.

Further, Leftists demonize ideas through clever marketing. They create buzz words or “cutesy” terms, and then pretend to care about the issue.

Look at 1619, CRT, DEI and ESG to understand a good idea gone bad. The good idea in this case: the Constitution. The outcome? The most racist, divisive concepts are now taught in schools and infused throughout society.

Using 1619, CRT, DEI, and ESG the Left took a manifesto formed by Communist academics and accused a nation that freed black people of being a racist country; a country that as far as I know remains the only country who has allowed a person who lineage comes from the bottom to rise to the top.

Ironically, the calls of racism generally by people who are doing quite well. Blacks like Michael Eric Dyson, Shaun King, and many others fare very well in America, even exceeding most whites in their accomplishments regardless of measuring standard. Yet they sell poverty, pimping it to young Blacks like an academic crack, and to young whites like academic cocaine.

But why stop at racism for Leftist political quackery?

Look at crime in any location where Leftists rule, and you will have plenty to look at. Still, they call for the insanity of less police, while simultaneously releasing violent criminals on the streets. They have no significant plans for rehabilitation, and seem to love the revolving door back to prison.

And what about that pipeline to prison (for minorities) known as the education system? Leftists give themselves more money each year, despite failing at all levels of academia.

As Prager said, there are so many areas of contention between the Left and the Right.

I recommend that any American who believes the left-right gap is bridgeable read the comments submitted by New York Times readers to any column that discusses a left or right position. These comments are a superb indicator of what those on the left, including liberals (I often distinguish between liberalism and leftism) believe. To submit a comment to a New York Times article or column, one must be a subscriber to the New York Times. So, virtually all those who comment are on the left, graduated from college and have enough disposable income to subscribe to the New York Times.

The simple answer to “How did we get here?” is conservatives allowed it.

Leftists behave like two-year-old children. That’s the period known as the “terrible twos”. Ask an older Black woman about the terrible twos and she doesn’t understand it. Because older Black women tolerated nothing. They ran their households, and wouldn’t dare allow a child to do so.

They let children throw tantrums, and didn’t placate them. When necessary, they spanked that butt to let a child know that there are consequences; yes even at two years old. As a result, Black children during that time were well-behaved and respectful. Our children were examples to all.

Black mothers knew how to raise good children. Studious, God-loving, hard-working, and family-oriented. Fast-forward to today, and you understand how we got here.

How ’bout that feminist movement for Black women?

Fani Willis used taxpayer funds to hire her cuckhold boyfriend, then led him around by his penis. The mayor of Dodson, Tiffany Henyard did something similar in her town, and actually said of herself, paraphrasing Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr, “I am the dream”.

Feminists like these now run cities or have major roles, where they have received unearned power. They got ahead on Affirmative Action, and now despise everybody who knows it. They believe they can overcome their deficiencies by ruling like tyrants. They represent the worst of humanity and the systems they infect.

No more meritocracy. The Peter Principle in full inglorious display. America should vehemently reject these people. But instead, most of society exalts them.

Women who emasculate men, publicly.

Anybody believe Barack Obama was the man of his house? Nathan Wade made it clear that Fani Willis wore the pants in their relationship. Would any self-respecting Black man date Letitia James? Show me your black Leftist woman and her man is a chump being led around on a leash, that’s if she has a man.

No company who expects to succeed long-term should hire them without government incentive. These poster children for Leftist feminism make horrible companions, friends, mothers, and so on.

We allowed the feminist movement to literally bastardized black families. Black women were always strong. They found strength in God, their husbands, and their families And they built the finest communities and raised the best children. Our silence gave permission to Democrats to decimate the Black community, the Black family, and specifically Black women. And they did it in full view.

Leftists built the “excuse” society.

Personal accountability is a thing of the past. There was a time when a girl got pregnant, and it was considered taboo. I’m not saying to shame young women for mistakes. However, look at how we treat pregnancy today. An inconvenience that can be remedied with the death of a child.

Pop a pill, and let “science” take care of things for you. Or worse, have a doctor do your dirty work. We’ve built a society that has almost no respect for the human condition at any level. And certainly little to no respect for self.

I’m reminded of Claudette Colvin, and how she was replaced by Rosa Parks. Colvin was the first Black woman told to go to the back of the bus. But she was a 15-year-old girl, pregnant out of wedlock. The Black community knew the ramifications of what lie ahead, so they enlisted a woman of reputation to recreate the situation and the rest is history.

Black people self-governed in that incident and many others. We held our community to OUR standard; a standard higher than any white man’s.

This wanton disregard for life happens daily and disproportionately in the Black community. The ease at which we kill is shameful. Society’s solution? Don’t report on it. Leave the ethnicity of the criminal out of the story. Because if we ignore the real perpetrator, the black community can stand united, right?

So now we wear blackness like a suit of armor against anything. We honor thugs like Michael Brown Jr, a thief who got himself killed. Trained to look for the proper scapegoat, Blacks blamed a white cop who fought for his life; a good man who remains in hiding to this day.

Or what about George Floyd, a drug-addict high on fentanyl who tried to pass a phony $20 bill, resisted arrest, and got himself killed. With Floyd, media-trained hyperbolic blacks blamed a white cop who had as much to do with Floyd’s death as the president of Guatemala.

Time after time, the Black community celebrates the political lynching of a white man. We demand police reform, as if white cops are reeking havoc in Black communities.

Democrat politicians may get their cut of the profits from crime in Black communities, but it’s not because white cops aren’t committing those crimes. The culprits remain the same in every black community in the country. Still Black Leftists watch as Leftist Democrats demonize Republicans for all the ills of Black society, as Democrats–more specifically Black Democrats–rule their fiefdoms with iron fists.

Trust the Science

The “trust the science” crowd who believe in 50-plus genders, and that the Earth can’t survive without them. These people have declared weather “the great existential threat to mankind”, as timeline after timeline expires on their inane predictions of global doom if man just doesn’t [insert the nonsensical and highly costly fix here].

Did I mention we stopped pushing back. We’ve allowed this an uncountable other instances of complete hogwash to catch on. Now we have a new set of pronouns, and the threat of jail if we “misgender” someone. Who coined this absolutely ludicrous term anyway?

Want to really have some fun? Look at the number of things considered racist.

Showing up on time. Speaking good English. Being cordial. Math. Yes, the calls of racism has gone to something universal, like Math. In fact, racism has become so esoteric that one might not even know they are racist. Not knowing one’s intrinsic racism of course makes you even more racist. After all, how could you not know, Silly?

Meanwhile, the people calling anything and everything racists are the real racists. Only society is too scared or stupid to call them out on such asinine, illogical hogwash.

We are nowhere near too far gone.

We must re-establish conservatism.
