On Monday morning, a horrific and tragic incident took place in Atlanta, GA when a 26-year-old migrant went on a brutal killing spree.

Allegedly, Olaolukitan Adon-Abel murdered three individuals across the city.

One of the victims was 40-year-old Department of Homeland Security employee Lauren Bullis, who was shot and stabbed multiple times while walking her dog.

Adon-Abel also shot an unnamed woman outside of a Checker’s fast food restaurant and a homeless man outside of a Kroger’s grocery store.

This Fox 5 news clip provided more details on the timeline of Adon-Abel’s alleged rampage:

Olaolukitan Adon-Abel was born in the United Kingdom and became a naturalized U.S. citizen under the Biden administration.

DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin shared more information in a statement posted on X:

On Monday, a DHS employee, Lauren Bullis, was brutally shot and stabbed to death by Olaolukitan Adon Abel, a 26-year-old, born in the United Kingdom, who was naturalized by the Biden Administration in 2022.

Since President Trump took office, @USCIS has implemented measures to ensure individuals with criminal histories and who otherwise lack good moral character do not attain citizenship.

He possesses a prior criminal record that includes convictions for sexual battery, battery against a police officer, obstruction, and assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism and now stands accused of murdering @DHSgov
employee Lauren Bullis by shooting and stabbing her while she walked her dog.

He has also been arrested for the murder of an unidentified woman whom he reportedly shot outside a Checkers, before randomly shooting a homeless man multiple times outside a Kroger in Brookhaven.

These acts of pure evil have devastated our Department and my prayers are with the families of the victims.

In response to the news, Homeland Security is also calling for prayers:

Police are calling the triple murder a “random” act of violence.

But, as Secretary Mullin noted, Adon-Abel was no stranger to the police.

His rap sheet includes sexual battery in Savannah, GA. One of the victims he molested was also out on a walk with her dog.

Yet, he only spent 120 days in jail for the crime.

The New York Post provided more details on his criminal background:

“It is apparent to us that this was a completely random attack,” Brookhaven Police Chief Brandon Gurley said.

Adon-Abel was nabbed a short time later and slapped with a slew of charges, including malice murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Adon-Abel’s prior convictions predated his arrival in the US.

His criminal record includes a conviction from October 2024 in San Diego, California where he pleaded guilty to felony assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm on a police officer or firefighter. Bullis worked in the DHS Office of the Inspector General.

Exact details surrounding that arrest weren’t immediately available but he was sentenced to probation.

Just months later, he was then nabbed for groping four women in Savannah, Georgia, in a matter of hours.

At least one of the women Adon-Abel approached in that April 2025 incident had been walking her dogs at the time, records show.

He was sentenced to 120 days in jail, three years’ probation, and was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation following that saga.

These types of attacks are far too common in our nation.

More innocent Americans’ lives have been cut short by a dangerous, repeat offender who should have never been granted entry — let alone naturalized citizenship — in the first place!
