Dems LOVE the military. Just ask them. They’ll tell you. They just love their own ambition SO much more. It’s an easy claim to back up, too.
In the recent news cycle, you’ve got two examples of Democrats using the military as pawns in their political game. We’ve got the ongoing drama of the ‘Seditious Six’, where elected Democrats with military or CIA backgrounds instructed the military to only obey lawful orders, despite not being able to describe a single example where Trump had done anything close to an illegal order.
Of course, that comes against a backdrop of denouncing everything Trump and his administration do as ‘fascist’ or ‘authoritarian’, or lawless. It doesn’t take a genius to connect those dots. And now they will have to answer for that video.
Not long before that, Democrats not only closed down the governement, voting something like 15 times to keep it closed, and voting down any number of bills written with the explicit purpose of making sure that government employees who were obligated to show up for work actually got paid to do so. That included bills that specifically voted to fund the military
Sorry Uncle Same, Dems didn’t want to give up their ‘leverage’ in negotiating for PBS funding and Obamacare handouts for Health Care megacorps.
But an even more egregious example involves Team Biden — who fired people in the military for refusing to take the untested jab — who received a report of the horrific living conditions soldiers living in Barracks had to endure, and taking no steps to actually fix them. The kind of complaints that would have Mandani going to war with a slumloard apartment owner.
Conditions were so bad that they impacted re-enlistment numbers.
Biden and company sat on their collective hands.
Pete Hegseth, on the other hand, is cut from a different kind of cloth. He sees something that needs to be fixed, he doesn’t set up a committee to write up a report on what sort of a committee should be making further reports on this issue. He puts together a plan of action.
Here he is describing the problem he inherited and what he plans to do about it. The difference in these administrations’ timelines alone will make your head spin.

When you only see veterans as political poker chips, you don’t stop and think about things like their quality of life, turning your attention instead to more ‘pressing’ matters like having male officers wear high heels, or squeezing DEI propaganda into every possible variation of training material.
